It's quite good, Relic are a good studio.
The PC demo felt a bit clunky though and it did have mouse smoothing/accel or something similar feeling even though I turned it off in the options :S
But I presume the full release will have controller support so it's not a big deal and I will be buying it.
"it cant even handle the graphics of Gta 4"
Most PCs cant, GTA4 on PC is more-or-less a direct port of the 360 version with the optimisations for the 360 still in place (which have an opposite effect on PC game performance).
They want to push their Origin crap.
I will never use a digital distribution service that isn't steam because, the truth is, Steam is the only one so far that has done it right.
Leading on PS3 would be a bad idea because the hardware is a totally different architecture.
Also, a PC game can theoretically be infinite in size...
But Blu-Ray is great for games, the 360's dvd has decimated loads of good franchises this generation :(
"And there's NO "significant" advantage between 60fps and 30fps. None. You're eyes can't see it. If you processed information 2x as fast, yes, but for the normal person your sense aren't good enough to be able to see the difference. "
Bull.
Give me 3 computers with counter strike source or call of duty 4 running at 30fps, 60fps and 100fps and I will tell you which one is which every time.
And for any other ...
"MW3 Didn't Copy BF3"
Neither game is out yet... so DUH!
MGS4 is the best game of this generation.
But it isn't as good as 1, 2 or 3 lol. (yes I know everybody hates 2 because you play Raiden but it's a fantastic game)
MGS4 and Lost Odyssey are the only 2 games this generation that actually left an impression on me.
For anybody who loved FF7,8,10 - get a 360 just for Lost Odyssey. If it carried the FF brand then FF would be #2 in this article (it was made by the best people who left square ...
It's because they are not made by the original devs, the modders make those amazing graphics to prove what the possibilities would be if it was a PC only game; generally their artistic and game development skills in general are far inferior to those of professional game developers. A lot of modders are infact game developers too, but without access to the game's original toolset it isn't easy to make a high quality mod.
I don't really like modding my PC games ...
Yes, it got repetitive and boring and only had 5 car types onscreen at once because the consoles are incapable of doing anything better if they are rendering good quality graphics at the same time.
DVD limitation totally ruined GTA4.
I hope GTA5 comes on multiple disks for 360, because otherwise it is another game ruined by that retardedly small DVD of fail.
GTA5 will probably look a little bit better than GTA4, in terms of rendering quality.
But the style and visual appeal overall could make it a much nicer looking game.
There is no shadow of a possibility, whatsoever, that the graphics quality will be anywhere remotely near what this mod does because GTA5 is aimed at consoles, which is fine - because the gameplay is the most important factor anyway and I will be happy to play it on my 360 (might have to wipe th...
@just_looken
That is running on a BAD graphics card.
And the "stretched image" is caused by the video codec, there may be some deliberate motion blur shader in the game but when put into a low quality video format it looks quite bad.
Also, that is not "scrolling".
Go be a troll somewhere else, or learn what you are trying to talk about.
@Blaine
True, I once lost a bubble for saying...
Yeah, GTA4 is a great game.
But it severely lacks in content and gameplay where San Andreas excelled. The best change is the shooting.
Even the missions in GTA4 had considerably reduced gameplay mechanics compared to San Andreas or Vice City.
I blame it on the DVD limitation (and some idiot is going to say San Andreas was also on a DVD - yes, but with vastly reduced space requirements for textures and other assets).
GTA4 did ...
PC is not only about graphics
But yes, 360 is a bit pointless right now - unless you already have one and want to play multiplats on it or something.
I have also purchased multiple new 360s.
A bit of a waste considering the only games that were worthwhile (excluding multiplats) were Halo and Lost Odyssey.
My flatmate is on his second, and I know 3 other people also on their second.
The 360 doesn't sell well in Japan because MS made a bad job of penetrating the Japanese market (buying out 1 good IP that the Japanese will like - Lost Odyssey).
Microsoft's marketing campaigns are a bit cheesy and stupid, in a way that probably offended Japanese people "buy our product because we are telling you to, not because we are trying to show that it's good - just go buy it... NOW!" (practically).
The 360's library of games ...
Well put.

What Jeseth said.
But in this particular case, armourer did nothing but repair in Oblivion. They should have made it possible to craft weapons with it, then it would have a reason to exist.
They improved the repair system a lot with Fallout 3, but the same idea wouldn't really work in the Elder Scrolls universe so perhaps removing it isn't really a bad idea.
In terms of RPG mechanics am not expecting a great deal from Skyrim, it won...
Mass Effect is more of a shooter. They like to call it an RPG, but it isn't one.
Action Adventure Shooter is the best genre to put Mass Effect into, Fallout 3 is an RPG Shooter.
Great games.
Funny that 3 of them are Unreal engine games and I dislike those three games because of the way they "feel" to play (clunky sluggish something... feels like your character is hanging from a rope by their nose when you move or turn the camera). Still played the hell outta them, but Bioshock and ME should be in their own engines.
Noticed something interesting...
4 of the 5 listed games had TV advertising campaigns. There must be o...
They are good if they are used sparingly and not spammed all over the place in huge numbers.
eg, the Halo Skulls and Fallout bobbleheads are good.
The things in AC are annoying and samey.
