Over 200k sold in the first day for God Eaters 2 and that doesn't even include digital.... Sony.... just what are you doing with your system. Make more games for it!
Have it pre-ordered
I'd like to think everyone has realized that by now, but there are a lot of idiots on this site. It needs big games PERIOD.
You found an indie 2D fighting game worthy of GOTY? That's a joke right? It's Tearaway hands down.
I thought they had the best show of any 3rd party publisher at E3 to be honest. SWBF3 and Garden Warfare were pretty stellar titles in my opinion. However, the sports games probably aren't going to wow much.
Tearaway doesn't come out till the 22nd
I think at heart it's wishful thinking when in reality they really haven't improved the value of owning a Vita: the game library. It might slightly boost software sales for those of PlayStation nation who haven't bought it already, but in my opinion that'll be about it.
If you go to the PlayStation store through your web browser and buy it there it will appear on your download list. Had the same problem as you but this worked.
It's good that they mentioned they haven't sold that many, but still, it shows that they have high expectations for the game.
Christ knows we need some big games next year.... hopefully we don't have to wait until E3 to hear about them.
@ nope111
Could not agree more! The 1800s mark the beginning of the century of humiliation in China and a highly decentralized government with many rebellions so there are a lot of possibilities. Japan could be another possibility because of the Meiji Restoration that takes place in 1867 and the struggle leading up to it. Asia is where they should move the series.
It's holding up pretty well actually. A 2D platformer (played Origins and it sucked), a 2D dungeon crawler, a 2.5D game, and a game that did not live up to hype.
"In the future we'll be seeing Freedom Wars"
I'd like to see your source on that one
"a unique Bioshock JUST for the Vita"
Would like to see your source that it is in development since no agreement has been reached yet.
...
This is why I laugh at the idiots on this site who say that the the Vita has software coming in the future, because it doesn't. Or are we going to shove indies up our ass until they come out of our mouths. We NEED AAA games and nothing less. Sony has admitted that software sales are great on the system so why aren't we seeing more AAA games!!
No it is not
They already showed at Gamescom that they are unwilling to do that. We have to pray that something big comes up at E3 or that 3rd party developers magically release large budget games on the handheld. Either way, Sony needs to take a hit and invest in it to get 3rd parties on it, or to invest their own resources into the system. I just made it clear which option they should take.
So by your logic a game that is already out on a console with over 80 million users is just as appealing on a less powerful hand held with a smaller library? I have played GoW games, they are not that great.
I'd like to hear your logic especially after Gamescom where it was obvious that Sony will devote little to not 1st party resources to the Vita.
Exactly what we needed to hear with only ports in the near future!
Wow... that is impressive for just one region. I assume they mean just physical copies to, or correct me if i'm wrong.
That's funny because they are no longer.... or are you saying that their old games are comparable to what they do now? No, because they actually have budgets to develop high end games. So your argument is useless.
