Lol why don't you look at the sales of these niche games in the west and then get back to me homie! God Eater 2, Freedom Wars, and Gravity Rush 2 do not have western release dates so remove them from the list as well. A rumored- COD game, take that off as well. So all we have coming is a bunch of niche Japanese titles, HD collections, and ports which are outdated? Sounds inspiring!
I'm glad you didn't include indies (you actually included one) because I would just...
Not even worth reading.. the logic is completely off. What are HD collections going to bring to this thing? NOTHING! Only 10% of PS4 owners actually use Remote play and that's with a 3rd of PS4 owners owning a Vita. So once again what is your logic? Big games? WHAT BIG GAMES? Okay, Final Fantasy X HD is a welcome addition, but Borderlands 2, I mean really? What is that going to bring to the Vita when I can get it on any other platform for a lower price? No this is not the year of the Vita...
Lol ok it has great games that have little to no replay value aside from Monster Hunter clones and KZ: Mercenary. I've played through all of the games I want to play on the Vita in probably under a year. So what does the future hold for me: not much.
Well it's never happening then, or they have handed it to another developer.... which is it?
Do we even really know if it is under development?
I also don't think it's that interesting of a game. I've never really been a fan of shooters, particularly ones that don't have much depth in plot. To me, this just sounds like another zombie, apocalyptic game which has been done so many times. What makes it better is that they magically have futuristic weapons! How convenient. I don't see how it has set itself apart from other games with a frivolous plot.
It's great that there is hype for this game, ...
Lol I feel the same way, it doesn't look special at all
Hope it sells well, would love to get some more AAA support on the Vita since all we have looking forward is Japanese games and ...... ports.
INDIES... lol well anyway, I already own one but, one game I'd love to see is Bioshock Vita since Bioshock Infinite blew my mind!
Lol other than the software being made by a few Japanese developer that's all were getting for the first half of the year! YAYYYYYYYYY great job Shahid!
Lol how about he leaves it at we because I too am sick of indies on the Vita. Sales figures show no body wants them and I don't need a Vita to play them, hell I don't even need a console to play them: it's called a phone/tablet. So let's cut to the chase, what do they offer? Small profts for Sony is really what they offer and cheap/free software for system owners. That's just about it!
Couldn't agree more, had enough of this bull crap indie revolution. What a hoax, the majority of gamers might want them but they do not want them to dominate their future game library.
Agree how many of those games are gonna be crappy indie games that personally, I don't give a damn about and would rather have bigger games.
Good move Sony now advertise it and release it at $200
Lol where are you getting the Vita part from? I own one and there is nothing more that I want than to make this happen. Hell, I even have a youtube channel dedicated to it, but I cannot see this happening unless Sony shows us some big AAA games at E3. Indies have done nothing but fill the software drought with mediocre to just bad software. At E3 it needs to be all AAA games, I would like to see some Minecraft, but I don't care about Borderlands 2 on the system, or any other ports. We nee...
Lol unreal Nintendo... just unreal
Kinda want to play Mass Effect 3 again now..... for the 5th time
Lol so why are they letting it stagnate? The only people to blame for the Vita's failure is Sony. Why aren't they paying more 3rd parties to hop on board when the only other console they need to bring software to is the PS4. The PS3 does not need anymore games. Why aren't more 1st party titles coming to the system or is a game about managing music conventions good enough for you or better yet indies?
Nicely put, software sells hardware and gives it value. Sony no longer needs to get software on the PS3 since it is doing pretty well on its own right now, but a price cut would probably see them bring in even more profits from it. So with the PS4 being the only real hardware they are pushing software on, why can't they focus more time on the Vita? I think Sony has a lot to answer to Vita owners who have had it since Day 1 and are now upset with the lack of software.
That's just one aspect in my opinion. Yes there are a lot of niche games, indies aren't doing it much either as they won't convince the average person to buy it. I mean $200 for a $10 to $15 30 MB game? Really? Sorry not good enough Sony. People, say indies offer diversity: I'm sorry are arcade games not already accessible for $0.25?
Now the library isn't bad, but if there are no future titles coming to it you're options are limited from the second you...
