I use to collect these sticks. I had 6 of them but recently sold two. Now I have two for each console and I'm not buying any more. This is a new cabinet design but for once I'm not going to bite. Rather put the money towards actual games instead.
Agreed. They are definitely not the best. There are far too many to choose from to say one is the absolute best. I have tried several Turtle Beach headphones and they are decent but I have tried a few others I prefer over them.
Astro A40s, Beyerdynamics MMX 300, Creative Sound Blaster Omega w/ Recon 3D mix amp, and most of all I like using my Denon D5000s and Sennheiser HD650s on my various mixamps.

Exactly Baka. Shipped is sold when it comes to software and most other products. Do people think retailers are on consignment? No, retailers pay for these products below MSRP and mark them up to full MSRP to turn their profit.
Once these products are in the hand of the retailers the publisher of the game has already made their money and it's consider sold. People caught up in sales should really learn to understand how it actually works before commenting on them.
Last I checked 22 reviews were posted on N4G with a 10 rating for UC3 and only 12 are posted on Metacritic. All the more reason to ignore them as a source for information. They hand pick which sites to allow and they are inconsistant when doing so.
I felt UC2 was a masterpiece an it appears that UC3 is equally as good, if not better. You can't ask for more than that.

If UC3 ends up being better than UC2 than I would think this would be the front running title to go up against for GOTY. Than again there are a few games out and upcoming...
Just put together a gaming rig a couple months ago and BF3 was one of the games I had in mine when deciding on the graphics card(s). I will be rocking BF3 in ultra settings with dual EVGA GTX 590's.

Uncharted 3 is my most anticipated title on the PS3 of 2011. Uncharted 2 is one of the my favorite titles of all time. I just hope Uncharted 3 is as good. Not better, just as good or at least close to being as good. Anything more would be a bonus.
I use Denon D5000 and Sennheiser 650's on the Astro mixamp. Love them. The Astro A40 headphones are decent but I prefer the Beyerdynamic MMX 300's for online gaming.
I'm picking up the Creative Sound Blaster Omega Recon 3D package next week. I'm really looking forward to see how Creatives new 3D soundcard powered by usb is going to enhance gaming on the PS3, 360 and PC. I'm hoping it's as good as some on reporting on it being.

The demo not only looked like ass but played like ass as well. A ton of screen tearing and uneven frame rate. This isn't even a rental for me and racing is my favorite genre.
I buy Uncharted for the offline portion of the game. The multiplayer gives me something to do once I have done all I can do in the story mode.
So to answer the question: HELL YES!
I am a get in get out kind of gamer. I love speed. The more gaming I can get in with a shorter amount of time, the better I enjoy the game. I dislike loading and long lobbies for any game so instant loading is a HUGE plus for me.
Hot Pursuit does look better. This game has a ton of video tearing, weak textures, dated graphics and gameplay in general. I tried it on my wheel and of course it ran like ass because it's not designed for a wheel at all. It didn't play much better on a controller.
This whole game feels very last generation. Every aspect about it just seems extremely dated, been there and done that arcade racer. As it is in it's current form, I wouldn't even rent this title.
As long as it's coming to the PC that is all I care about. I have SSFIV:AE on the PS3, 360 and PC. It runs great on all 3 but on the PC, not only does it look and sound amazing but it loads almost instantly between rounds and matches.

Call me crazy but I have a PC capable of running BF3 on it's highest settings and I'm still getting it for the consoles. Most of my gaming friends don't own PC's.
I really wish developers and publishers would do less talking and more actual progressive work on their products. They are getting as bad as fanboys and trolls.

I adjust my display when ever I want to tweak it's appearance regardless of the console, receiver, dvd player or PC I am viewing the source material from.
Anyone that knows a thing about calibration knows you should calibrate your display for each piece of hardware you are viewing material from. Why do you think displays give you the ability to save individual picture settings for each video channel the display offers?

I am speaking as someone that owns all 3 platforms and I played and completed Batman Arkham Asylum on the PC from Steam and I already have Batman Arkham City on preorder for the PC. Besides the textures, resolution and silky frame rates the definitive reason is pyshX.
Another bonus is Windows Live games support XBL achievements as well.
