I came so close to purchasing Kinect for Forza 4 for it's head tracking. I am one of those guys that wants to own any and every peripheral that might help enhance my gaming experience. According to these guys it not only doesn't enhance it but hinders it.
In 2 days it's going to be 2012 yet this article appears to be stuck in 2007.
@DARK WITNESS
Well said. I agree 110%.
Who cares about next gen hardware when MS is now focusing on what's fashionable and will yield them the most profit. I mean all companies are "suppose" to do that but not to such an extreme that they have literally turned their back on the people that brought them to the dance (core user base).
They don't have enough individual support to compete with their competitors with core games. Unless th...

You just gotta laugh at the disagrees for DiRtY stating a stone cold fact.
Trizard
Go troll and whine somewhere else. Nobody, besides a dumb shit troll just looking to spew nonsense (like you), would say such a stupid thing (GT5 outselling Halo).
Shooters have been the industry leaders for sales for quite some time now but there is no denying just how amazingly well the GT series does in sales and longevity / value to the consumer.
Another thing. People fail to comprehend that the GT series is one of the harder, if not the h...
That's Sorcery?
That doesn't look anything like what I remember from the game they premiered at E3. That looks incredible. I don't own Move yet, till now. When this game hits I without question will purchase Move. Now this is a game you purchase motion controllers for. Well done!
It's a brand new site looking for hits so just vote it down ablegamers.com+ under read full review>> and be done with them and this lame review.
Give them a swift kick it in the ass and hopefully this will be one of those sites the N4G mods actually filter out or do away with completely. I'm not saying Batman AC is amazing or anything, but is sure as hell is a high quality title and this score is just a pathetic attempt for notoriety.
I have been waiting on GRID 2 for years. I don't get why they have abandon that series. The original was a gem. I still play it from time to time. It was one of my favorite wheel games I have played this generation and I own it on the 360, PS3 and PC.
As far as Showdown I am hoping this isn't too far removed from the DiRT series. From what I read it seems they are going more towards the arcade side of things with Showdown.
iRacing isn't a game, it's a way of life.
It seriously takes a commitment most people don't want to put into any one game to get good at. It is a simulator in it's purest form. In other words, it's hard as hell and requires 100's if not 1000's of hours of practice to be competitive at.
Not in the slightest but you obviously are.
@Sheikh
Not sure what you're assuming or implying about me but your speaking to a person that is a hardcore Forza fan and have done most of my gaming on 360 hardware this generation. I own 3 copies of Forza 4 (and 5 XBox 360s) that I run on my triple panel display. I am merely wondering if it's the preferences of the user bases as to why the sales are so different.
XBL - BoodyBandit
"woah calm down a bit there, cowboy"
Quoted for humor.
Sorry no offense to either of you but I thought this line was funny as hell. I like seeing a bit of humor on N4G because it is usually, "why so serious" type back and forth.
Just as long as it has wheel support.
I'm good to go.
Yearly XBL fee = a game
Been a member since this gen started? That is another console, 6 games, a monitor or great pair of gaming headphones.
It adds up.
I have been an XBL member (x2) since it started. That is roughly 1.5k (give or take a couple hundred) spent just for me and my son to game on XBL. That's a pretty big expense over time and is money that could've been spent on a lot of games, gaming devices, or just about anything else.
Such an insane avatar for such a sane contributor.

Is it open mic night here on N4G?
Oh you're being serious.

MS is not in the business of giving breaks, they never have been. They are about making money and only making money. They want paid for "everything". That is why they charge for their online services, everything has to pass certification (fees for most) and nearly everything on their console is proprietary (license fees). They want paid.
Edit: Disagree away but tell m...
DON'T LINCH ME FOR WHAT I'M ABOUT TO ASK
I wonder how they would differ in sales if they switch places (consoles)?
I mean is it the user base or a reflection of the games themselves?
"not really interested in Starhawk"
Yet you're the first to reply. SMH
On topic:
3D or no 3D this is one of my most anticipated titles for 2012. Warhawk was seamless online. I love online games that work near flawlessly. That is the thing I hope stays the same for this next iteration in the series. Can't wait to play it.
I am spoiled and play Forza 4 on 3 - 46" micro bezel Samsungs and a Fanatec CSR Elite wheel. The speed wheel does look cool but my arms would tire easily.
