mmm.. dawn of war. what a fun game...
all the stuff on the page means nothing to me...
thats exactly what i've been saying. ps2 was in the same boat as ps3 until roughly a year after its release when the hard hitters started coming out. MGS2, FFX and DMC all came out a year after ps2 launched. then ps2 took off and everything was good.
this same scenario can be used with 360. it was struggling from lack of truly defining titles until a year after its launch and Gears came out. There were really no "next gen" titles until Gears came out a YEAR after...
haha.. thats hilarous
i admit it does suck in some respects. Its not even Fox's most watched show... the brilliant House is.
in console tournaments, which have almost no respect when compared to PC tournaments.
also, when you're talking about console tournaments, aside from sports games, theres not much else you can do. (which is why Halo was defining for console games, not games overall.)
haha.. i would like to see it someday, but my friend is right: if they remade it, people would see how outdated the game is. other rpgs have taken elements from the game and done them a lot better, so when you play vii again, it would seem as if the game was poorly implemented.
yah for disagrees without reasons...
yeah, it takes nades and pulling strats, but when i fire up a match of CS and compare it to halo or resistance or timesplitters, i can't help but think they're on different levels.
i'd like to liken it to fighting games: halo:doa, a fun arcadey game thats great for pickups and mindless good times. whereas CS:Virtua Fighter, a deeper, more involved experience that requires you dig down a little more to win. you might not agree with me, but thats how i view the games. (having...
after the last two m$ announcements, i'm not so excited about it.. even more, its about pac-man, so yeah...
"major" my a$$
can't beat it on very hard... :-(
i'd get one, but i don't have the money to drop, plus it'd probably cost a crap load to pay for the services needed like email, internet, all that good stuff..
Sim City 2000 ftw. greatest game ever. no need for micromanagement for everything, just pure city planning. hopefully 5 can make it fun again
the thing that excites me the most is where he says you'll essentially be controlling a real person, not a 3d model.. mmm... next level of immersion.
what happened to Nariko?
stops going on at 10 for me...
but i got 7 out of the first ten right... not bad
is that artwork or ingame? its kinda hard to tell with this game.. :-p
looks like cg, but who knows
he was included
but if Master Chief is #1, i will stop coming to this site...
i'll edit and post my thoughts after reading this.
EDIT: ahh, i'm actually glad they didn't just put all the mainstream characters in there.. while the top three were essentially give, i was happy that the "Longest Journey" characters were in the top 5, along with Jade from BG&E. I'm a little shocked that they didn't put Cloud in, but the inclusion of Vivi and Kain made it all better. ...
the execution of it wasn't well done, but the feature they were showing off eclipses any firmware update on any system thus far (my opinion)
an example you might understand: you could be ugly. (superficial) but you can go on to solve cancer. (not superficial) which will people care about and remember more?
thats impressive. has anyone done a test with two 8800 in sli?
