considering sonyprotectiongroup is the middleman, and vgcharts is the main provider, you can't fault the group.
however, was it not a bunch of 360 fanBOYS (fan and fanboy are different i remind you) that always approve VGchart stuff that show that ps3 is lagging behind immensely?
also note on the chart that the first real "spike" for 360 occurs 52 weeks after its release. otherwise, its roughly the same as the ps3 line. It's as i've always said, 360 d...
showed something like this a year or so ago. (i know the guy works for m$ now)
but it seems like apple's was better in my eyes
didn't m$ also show this a while ago? it was staged then (you could tell) but it seems like its come a long way
definitely not as exciting as some things we were predicting last night
Winning Eleven has always eclipsed Fifa.. only reason fifa has survived so long is because its licenses
to me, ffiii (or vi using japanese naming) was the best of the series. vii will always hold a place in my heart because i labored through it on a POS pc cause i didn't have a psx..
it was 200 workers and 4 years to make ffvii the same quality as the tech demo. the guy said it at e3 04... four years is quickly ticking by
that someone would go through the effort of actually changing the names/titles in an article... sad to think someone would drop that low too.
for an official announcement
as a console game, halo is not overrated, but rather a great game. but when compared to the entire spectrum of games, it doesn't hold a candle to the great games.
halo 3 will sell no matter how good or how bad the game is. however, do not be surprised if m$ juices the series more. i wouldn't be surprised at all if there was a cliffhanger ending..
FFXII for 30 bucks? i might pick it up... especially with that new upscaling feature..
cause i've been an underground member since 2002, granted i don't post a lot in the forums, but i think i deserve something..
he stepped out to get a drink for the kid..
wheres jack thompson now to jump on this? "it starts early. with the wii, you actually simulate hitting things"
looked very disappointing. the darkness will be an amazing game that few people will buy. its a shame
360 didn't do much its first year. everything changed for the better when Gears came out. otherwise, its pretty much the same path that the ps3 is currently following.
would be sick nasty. isn't it relatively cheap too? or am i thinking of something else..
this could probably be used as optics camo... mgs2's camo becomes real life? i can see it
as many 360 fans are rebuying it to take advantage of its better hardware.. while the ps3 is still suffering from its lack of good games.
however, like i've been saying, come late 07 and early 08, we'll be singing a different tune
is that you'll now be able to transfer saves back onto the memory card (ps1 or 2) with the adapter thingy.. this is a nice feature i guess
MP3 will be great.. i remember playing the first on my cousin's gamecube the first day it was out, and i was completely blown away with it. even if i play it now, it's amazing.
hopefully it'll sell great, cause pretty much all the metroids are amazing
Shadow of the Colossus in 1080p? oh lord.. i might consider getting a psp now. we'll see.
great news. now custom soundtracks and backgrounds... haha
its because they don't have any major hard hitters coming out in late 07/beginning of 08. they're one major console release this year is Dawn of Mana.
plus if they did start supporting 360, it would be years before the game came out, cause squenix is infamous for taking as long as they need for the game to be of AAA quality. so supporting 360 would do absolutely nothing for the short run, which is what this article is focused on.
after a great year with FFXII...
it some kind of crystal/holographic-esque storage thing? i read about it a long time ago...
but yeah, with that many pixels, the memory required per frame would be ridiculous. movies would be terrabytes large, and the screens to display these images would have to be extremely large as well, or you won't notice the different, or you could be watching from a mile away...
