i'm wondering why someone would disagree with this.... it makes the game more realistic, more challenging to play...
if it had real time field deformation. like if its rainy, the corners of the field would be all torn up and make the ball move slower or something.. if they did that and had realtime weather changes and wind, i can see that taking up a decent amount of space... and full cloth animation, emotional players, homefield morale etc..

actually i believe it simulates you driving a real ferarri. it just runs off the ps3's hardware to generate graphics/physics/w/e is needed
they're making a lot of new units too, which excites me. and it looks like you can highlight 24 units at a time now.
the point of this vid i think was to show off the balance between the units and races. zealots slaughter marines, which get slaughtered by siege tanks, which get slaughtered by the immortals, which are weak against non siege weapons

granted, a lot of these flaws are because its in beta
it looks visually fantastic, but it the gameplay looks dark cloud-esque. hopefully there'll be more customization and more diverse gameplay (cause that looks kind of repetitive)
"ps2 came out, and started to have way more games" generally this happens after a console is out. it gets games. ps2 didn't have any "must have game" immediately after its launch. in fact, it wasn't until the following Q4 that great games started coming out for it.
and second, ps3 is actually selling MORE than ps2 at the same stage in its lifecycle...
but then again, you probably didn't start playing games until maybe the middle of the las...
did you miss the part where its five months into development?

sony will strike at christmas 07/january 08.. it took ps2 a year to get its hard hitters out, and this time, it looks like the ps3's heavyweights will have the same, if not greater impact than before:
