I think people just like to type AF!
Completion % is a very effective metric re: the strength of a game.
It means (generally):
- It kept players’ interest; it had an intriguing story/characters.
- There was a variety of settings/enemies - new stuff to see and or do.
- The gameplay did not become stale and overly repetitive.
- The game was well built - not a lot of major bugs.
- Overall, the game remained entertaining and fun to play until the end.
With it being open world. I wonder if enemies will respawn after you die
Not impressive since it’s 2 gens old.
I’m not confident that this game will ever be released. More’s the pity...
How long was 7?
Regardless of whether or not it’s the best, it did a great job continuing the story from one chapter to the next.
I’m really looking forward to this - to connect again with the characters. It’s been so long, I think it will feel fresh and new.
I haven’t bought games at launch for a few years. It started with my backlog being too big, and - with single player games - I’m willing to wait for them to drop in price. I recently paid $14.99 for a new Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition.
But now - it’s primarily that I don’t trust that games won’t be released that are essentially broken. It’s just not worth the risk, and I can wait for reviews and the community to tell me whether or not the games runs well.
I’m sure they felt pressure to hit the holiday window - and sacrificed quality as a result.
I bet it was a C-suite decision - and they ignored those actually working on the game advising another postponement.
Agree!!!
That’s what she said.
That’s what she said...
The only way to stop this is for the public to be unwilling to pay anything more that retail. I doubt that will ever happen, though.
So true.
I remember when she was on IGN. She was decent. Generally, her analyses were more in depth than the others. I have no idea about her story writing skills, and I didn’t follow her when she left IGN.
I googled her, and it looks like she’s gone the Instagram model route. Looks like she’s hit the gym hard and is posting revealing pics. - She looks good, but a definite change from the “cute gaming nerd” that she was on IGN.
My son is 16 - he has no urgency to get a next gen console. He says none of his friends are getting one anytime soon. He is fine playing the new COD and Spider-Man MM on the PS4.
I was playing through Demon Souls on the PS3 when the remake was announced, so although I think it would be cool - and want to play it eventually - I can wait.
With the new consoles, they should be able to get much closer to Peter M.’s original vision.
That is a really good point. I might be more likely to try the harder difficulties if there are not long loading times.
That’s quite a statement!
I’m interested to see if it will be XBox/PC exclusive or a timed exclusive - or if it will also released on PS5, and if so - will the PS5 get the same content.
