Wow! I've actually been playing through DS on my PS3 - on level 4-2. Think I'll stop and wait for this.
If any are unfriendly, it is Nintendo because: 1) poor supply of consoles 2) Delays of popular first party games ie: Metroid 4.
I am not saying Nintendo is actually unfriendly, but it's with them that I've had the most frustration - if I have to pick one.
I think there is a good argument for the XBox360 RROD being consumer unfriendly as well.
MS has shown their cards - and excitement decreases over time. Sony delaying their reveal means excitement will be at a higher place when the consoles actually launch.
I remember when I had the demo disk from Pizza hut for the first THPS - the warehouse level. My friends and I played that alone for hours upon hours.
My thumbs aren't what they used to be, but I'm sure I could still pull off some knarley tricks! Plus it was always fun to crash and watch your dude crunch against the ground and fly all over the place.
I might have to pick this up!
So - it a remake a definite thing?
Nice! I love the DS games - played DS on PS3 - been wanting the remastered version.
I’ve been wondering about this one too. It had a Dark Souls vibe.
Cool - I can use my HyperX Alphas.
Has anyone heard if the PS5 controller has triggers on the bottom? Everyone thought the PS4 controller attachment was predicting this for PS5.
IMO, the XB360 controller is the best controller from an ergonomic perspective. Any move toward that size and shape is a good thing.
I'm going to hold off to see what the rest of the series looks like - and maybe get the inevitable package edition with all of the games.
Interesting article.
I’m waiting to see how multi-plat games perform on each.
Skill matching, when implemented, usually works pretty well to account for this.
It will be interesting to see if they have it in 2021 - and if so, what format does it take.
Exactly! If it’s the latter, then for me it’s the first level of Bloodborne - until you reach the 1st boss and can start leveling.
The point of the article is that there is an end point to the journey of graphic improvements - photo realism.
Each gen brings us closer to the end point. And it gets more complicated as we approach that end point.
It’s like climbing a mountain that is continuously getting steeper - the further you go, progress is slower and more challenging.
Though there were a lot of great games this gen, Bloodborne was my favorite; I’d love a sequel.
I was 5 in 1977 when Star Wars came out. I had all the toys, alternated being Luke and Darth Vader on Halloween - it was my childhood. I am not a casual fan by any stretch, and I really enjoyed the movie.
Because my backlog is so large, I just can’t justify spending the money.
I hope they add the ability to rest and travel at the bonfire/stone things - and not have to travel back to the Nexus. Though with faster load times, it may not be bad.
