Back in the day, I traded in my PS2 to get an XBox. 2 years later I bought another PS2 and have owned the latest iteration of both ever since.
I’m a PS fan. I’m not sure how I’m going to handle this - it could be very hard for me to work through.
I guess my only option is to fire up my Series X which is sitting next to my PS5 and play it day one on GamePass.
Hopefully that will help me get through this difficult time.
I’m just glad those who have had difficulty finding one (at the regular retail price) will now be able to get one.
How you get a PS5 is: you watch Twitter and video game sites every second; you sign up for every store exclusive membership, and when you see if being offered, you sign in quickly and…shove it up your butt!

I think getting a console still requires actively searching and some luck. IGN had an announcement a couple of days ago that Walmart had PS5s and Series Xs. I caught the announcement 5 minutes after it was posted.
I already have both, but out of curiosity, I clicked the link, and they had both systems in stock at the regular retail price. I just checked again, and they are out.
I think it is getting easier if you are actively looking, but you still can’t ...
Wow - that’s a great number. I think the average is about 10% - based on a quick search.
Kudos to them for changing things up and trying something different so that’s not just a retread.
I have both.
I have an external drive for all my PS4 games; I was able to get one for pretty cheap when compared to an interval drive (5T for $109). I was able to download everything I had saved on my library and put it on the external drive.
I also have an extra internal 1T SSD for PS5 games.
If you have a lot of PS4 games, I think this is the best way to do it.

I checked, and the 30 series started shipping Sept 2020. Is 2-3 years a normal turn around time for new graphic cards?
Honest question - I’m not a PC gamer, but looking to get into it.
Why do they remove titles? I’m less likely to jump into a huge game like FFXIII if I know it is only available for a limited time - and never knowing when that time might end.
I already have THPS on PS4 (bought it cheap). Was considering paying for the PS5 upgrade - now I don’t have to - so I’m happy.
Interesting to see the comments; I’d have thought more people liked playing the 3 characters.
Personally, I enjoyed all three because I found each compelling and fun in different ways.
At the end of the day, I’m fine either way for 6.
