@Elda - the characters’ driving skill improves over the course of the game.
The very first bit of driving is challenging because it is a very fast car and skill is low at this point. Later, that same car will handle much better.
The same is true for shooting.
Don’t know if you were aware of this…and thought it might impact what you thought.
For $10 on PS5? Absolutely.
I’m not reading any reviews or watching any videos. I have it preordered and ready to download.

I hope they have multiple protagonists like V. I really enjoyed being able to switch characters - and interacting with the world as each.
I do like the idea of a female protagonist. I trust they will make a compelling character.

A buddy of mine says he’s been playing the PS4 version on his PS5 and really enjoying it. I trust his judgement.
Ah memories…I remember firing it up for the first time with the huge Duke controller and Halo - and immediately being blown away (literally - I really sucked at FPS at first!).
Simple solution - buy both! If getting both now is too much - get one now and save/wait for the other to drop in price.

People were already losing themselves in MMORPGs years ago - because for them it was preferable to real life. I think the Metaverse will be the same - only far more enticing - and addictive.
It seems inventory is slowly increasing - been seeing more notifications for drops. My PS5 purchase invite finally arrived a few days ago, but I already had one - from Walmart+ (got a Series X as well that way)

I got a PS5 and a Series X through Walmart+. The X arrived 6 days after I ordered it and the PS5 12 days after.
I’ve seen where some people had difficulty ordering them or had their orders cancelled or shipment delayed a few months, but it worked for me.
I keep getting kicked out of matches due to server issues.
I’m sure it will be good on the PS4, but I’m so glad I was finally able to score a PS5 to play this on.
It’s not good PR to draw attention to past failures - which could erode confidence in their current consoles.
Let’s do some math. If I bought Halo, Forza and 1 year of Gold all at full price, I’d spend $180 plus tax. 1 year of GP Ultimate is also $180 - no tax. With GP, I get Halo, Forza and Gold, plus a lot extra. For me it was a no-brainer
Must be why they had it on PS Plus - to lure people to getting the DLC.

Exactly - we’ve all fallen prey to hype and seen the final product fall significantly short of what was promised - and we are now more cautious as a result.
