If you create a system of equality of outcomes and minority quotas, then people are generally going to think that a minority got the job because of that and not their merit.
I have a launch PS4 and the Forza 6 edition XBone. At this point, the next consoles I buy will be the PS5 and XBox Scarlett.

I never buy a single player game at launch. My backlog is so big, I can wait until the game drops to $19.99 - the complete version with all the DLC.
For MP games, I’ll wait a few weeks after launch to see how it performs.

I think we as a species have been dehumanizing each other for all of our existence.
Examples: the guillotine, the iron maiden, the rack, draw and quartering, slavery, crucifixion, concentration camps, burning at the stake, atomic bombs...
All of these things and others pre-dated videogames.
Xobox is providing better quality games - but I already have them. The PS games are good, not great, but I don't have either.
As long as people buy enough of it so there is a profit over the cost of producing the content (which I’m guessing is pretty low), it will continue.
I’d prefer to actually play the demo than just watch someone else play it.

I won’t buy a new TV until I buy a next gen console. The prices will have dropped significantly by then.
I’d like a 4K 65” OLED or QLED TV with a 120Hz refresh rate.
I’m thinking those should be under $1K by the end of 2020.
The XB360 controller is still my all-time favorite across all gens and all systems - so I'm hoping for a return to its shape/dimensions for the NextBox.
IMO, Sony's controllers get better with every gen, so I'm sure it will be good.
