I agree. Any excitement I might have is being held in check by not having any real info of what this game is about.
So you don’t think it’s possible that a retailer would hold inventory for a highly desired item for the busiest shopping days of the year when people are looking to spend money - not on just that item, but others as well - so they can advertise that they have that item in stock - which will drive traffic to their website so shoppers see all the other deals as well - which increases their potential profits and looks good for shareholders?
If my hypothesis is so off - please ...
I only paid $12 or $13 for one month of Walmart+ and got both consoles - a $6 premium each. I wouldn’t buy one from a scalper - though you could argue it’s kinda the same thing…
I’ve seen plenty of people upset on Twitter who paid for the membership and didn’t get one - at least not yet.
Anyway, If you’re accusing me of rewarding anti-consumer behavior from Walmart, I’m not going to disagree with you.
Cheers!
I’m wondering if retailers held back some stock for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Through Walmart+, I was able to order a Series X (arrived yesterday) and a PS5 disk version(just ordered today).
I’d been following various Twitter channels to get stock updates, and they seem to be happening more frequently this past week.
My old eyes are having a difficult time seeing the differences. It always helps me in these videos when they pause and point out them out.
Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving!
I was able to order a Series X from Walmart today. I tried to get a PS5 too - had both my phone and laptop and refreshing like crazy. I’m really happy and feel fortunate to get at least one of them. My most anticipated game is Eldin Ring - so I’ll get to play it on current gen in all its glory.
GTA the franchise or GTAV - which they seem to want to milk for decades.
Thanks for the tip - good to know!
Great - thanks!
QUESTION: If I buy it on the PS4 with plans to upgrade to PS5 version later, does it matter what format I buy it in for the PS4 - physical or digital?
I actually saw 4 Series S at Wal-Mart this past weekend. I want an X (and a PS5 too), but it was encouraging that the supply drought seems starting to be decreasing.
That’s what she said!
I’m waiting until I have a PS5 to get this. I doubt I’ll be able to get one between now and the game’s launch - so the delay does not impact me.
I’m just really curious to see what these look and play like.
I’m guessing they did research/focus groups to see what they needed to improve and by how much to motivate people to buy them.
No surprise. Good to see they are continuing with the dark and violent tone - which creates the great atmosphere and makes combat so satisfying.
“We’ll, you always left me satisfied and smiling…” Jim Halpert.
THAT’S WHAT SHE SAID!!!!
LoL
I’ve never really minded that I need to soul farm a few times in souls games to help me advance.(I know - if I was gud, I wouldn’t have to farm…)
But with the open world, there might not be the need to repeat an area to farm, you may just need to explore a new area.
Morrowind
That’s a good point - about seeing gameplay at E3.
And, for the record - to Oeazy - I’m not outraged nor do I hope it fails - quite the opposite actually.
