This game looks ancient compared to Witcher 2. The graphics and animations are simply archaic.
I've been gaming in native 1080p on my PC for years. It's not that hard as long as the consoles stop using fossilized technology and specs that a high end Android cell phone can match.
Wow! Awesome! I can't wait to play the same game I've played 3 years ago with the same engine and near identical graphics!
Plot devices are secondary to the challenges this game will face in the RPG space. Because, there's a new king of uber RPGs in town and its the Witcher 2. So unless they're going to match Witcher 2's graphical splendor and depth then don't even bother.
If they're planning on doing a reprise of DA 2 then this game is pretty much dead on arrival.
Yeah, basically if Nintendo can pull a "Killzone" style demo with their new hardware then Sony and MS will definitely be feeling the heat. Nothing win E3 like superior graphics and flashy explosions.
However if they show Mario Kart running in full 1080p with 8xAA then nobody give a damn.
This game desperately need Battlefield's destroyable terrain and the mechs themselves could use a little more weight in their animations. Right now they look like a bunch of toys bouncing around the map.
Everyone is anticipating the next Xbox, anything less, nobody cares.
Its a PS3 MMO...so what happened is pretty obvious.
Problem with Bluray is it goes against the interest of the typical console devs. Why should they deliver 30 gigs of gaming content when they can crank out 9 gigs games then continue to rape for "bonus" content with DLCs?
So far all I'm seeing from the PS3 exclusives in terms of Bluray disk space are HD cut scenes and crap. There isn't anything with true content...oh yeah, the game of the year editions of games like Fallout 3 can fit all the DLCs in one disk....
Umm...thats ancient. This shit came out in 2008, say hello to 2011 Nintendo. Did they spend four years working on this console or what?
But at least with 1 to 1.5 gigs of on board RAM this console will be a true a 1080p gaming machine instead of the so called "HD" 720p gaming rigs like the PS3 and Xbox 360.
The problem is the specs fails to impress enough when compared to the low end gaming PCs and most of all, I don't trust Nintendo. They'r...
Umm WTF? Double post :(
This list fails.
The most anticipated RPG is Star Wars: The Old Republic above all else. Its only the costliest RPG ever developed and millions MMO fanboys and their $15 a month subs are awaiting it's release. It's basically EA's answer to WoW and they're throwing millions into this. It's an event.
Skyrim and everything else is a side show compared to this regardless of which RPG you prefer.
Bah double post
Skyrim looks like shit compared to Witcher 2. In fact Witcher 2 might be the RPG version of Crysis. Its a benchmark that will stand for a very long time. The texture quality is such that only a dedicated PC game can achieve.
Shit, Witcher 2 on the PC looks better than this in game, nevermind this CGI trailer BS.
I don't give a damn what chip it uses as long as this new Cell PS4 can spit out PC quality textures at full 1080p with full scene 8X AA at a constant 60 fps. If not then try again or don't even bother.
Windows 7 is simply awesome. It's basically their best OS since XP. So if they can improve upon W7 then I'm in.
I just build a bad ass gaming machine for less than $1,000, and that includes extravagances like SSD and a very high end GTX 570 graphics card. Beats anything out of NASA, they're underfunded and their comps are crap anyways.
With the stale state of console gaming these days I'm heading back to first love, the PC. It really does everything!
I finished the first Witcher years ago so the plot is confusing as hell and it's total mystery to me. Would it be too much to ask for some sort of recap or maybe a saved game recap?
The character facial animations and lip sync is also way below the Bioware standard. But so far the graphics put this game into it's own category. If you have the system for it, there isn't a single RPG out there that comes close to looking this good. I don't think even the next El...
This is one of the few PC games that I'm looking forward to playing. While the PSN was down I put together a bad ass gaming PC just to handle this new gen of PC games. 2500K Intel CPU and Nvida GTX 570 GPU, that should be worthy of BF3 :)
