Witcher 2 looks great but their facial dialog animations is still wooden and ghoul like compared what Bioware is sporting in games like DA 2 and Mass Effect 2. Because pretty vistas and city environments just isn't enough, just look at Two Worlds 2. Hopefully they learned from the first Witcher and brought some top draw voice talent and some cinematic flare this time around.
I'll buy one. But when they say HD, they better mean HD unlike the current gen of fake HD consoles. If it's not a true 1080p gaming machine then the deal is off.
Can you blame THQ? BigHugeGames is an unproven dev filled with big (and expensive) names like Todd McFarlane and RR Salvatore who haven't done a damn thing in this industry and they want millions of $ to develop an uninspired looking hack and slash RPG...AND a MMO?
Going by the trailer and screens, its no wonder THQ walked. There isn't anything eye catching about this game at all.

I love IL 2 but I wouldn't come near this game with a ton feet pole. This game is buggy as hell and it's devoid of the features you would come to expect from a IL 2 game. There isn't even any squad management or a semi dynamic campaign.

What a completely pointless rant about PC code optimization. It changes nothing when the fact is that this "future proof" console have as much RAM as an iPhone 4 and in some cases, less than the highend Droids. 512mb of RAM is 512 of RAM, no amount of code optimization is going to pull RAM out of thin air. With enough RAM on board the PS3 would actually be able to do stuff that it was designed to do...like running Home in the background while playing Killzone 3.
Unless this console can run triple AAA games @ native 1080p and 60 fps using PC style high res textures then there's no point.
Oh, and don't forget to pack some god damn RAM into it this time. 512k RAM in a dedicated gaming machine is a joke. I'm not sure what the hell MS and Sony were thinking when they both made that decision.

It just amazes me how these companies just never learn. Big high profile lawsuits against hackers just doesn't work because while you're suing one group, you're inspiring attacks from dozens of other groups.
