First two looks like bullshots or CG/cut scene graphics. That can't be real in game.
If it is in game....wow.
0/10 is an outrage. There are worst games than this by far. It's sad to see the haters singling out Duke for their nerd rage.
I want to see more of the action and shooting elements first. That could be make or break for me.
Why haven't they hacked N4G yet? I guess this cesspool of fanboy-ism isn't worthy of their lulz.
Many people never forgave Killzone 2 for it's controls. Their lost. Killzone 3 is great, the only thing I hate is the lost of the 32 players frag fest. The game feels smaller now.
OMG!! Elena is married to Sully and she's carrying on an affair with Drake!! That much is obvious from the trailer. I don't know WTF these IGN guys are talking about.
Maybe because Steam policies are stupid and they offer zero support to their customers?
Lets see now...
1. Steam games can only be activated at 9 AM instead of on the stroke of midnight like other digital downloads. Want to stay up late to play that hot new release? Sorry, we can't activate your game now because we're all at home watching Glee.
2. Want the latest patch that fixes broken stuff and new content? Sorry, the patch came out...
Basically he's saying that there won't be an Assassin Creed game on launch day. Developing games for a system like this takes time. You can't just flip a switch when the hardware has been finalized then push it out the door.
Typical of Nintendo to treat 3rd parties like shit so they can crank out shinier versions of Zeldas and Mario Karts.
Do I have to play Infamous to get Infamous 2? I got the first game from the Come Back rewards but the graphics are so dated that I can't bare to look at it.
Witcher 2 is a benchmark game in RPG graphics. You're not going to see a lot of games like that for a long time.
Rinsen 2 obviously isn't up to par, but I think we're looking at console textures here so thats to be expected.
I love Gothic and hence Risen 1, but I'm not so sure about the storyline in Rinsen 2. The pirate departure seems out of place.
Bluray for movies for sure, the image quality just can't be matched. Once you used to the beauty of crisp, clear 1080p movies you just can't go back.
Streaming are for TV shows, nothing more.
Right because independent split screen is a must have in any display....24" isn't a TV, its a monitor. A medium sized one at that.
Hell I'm typing this from a 27" gorgeous LED monitor for $350. Can it do 3D? Hell no. But thats what my 55" Samsung is for.
Buy a real high end TV if you want 3D. For example the latest gen of LED TVs are virtually ghosting free. There's no reason to pay good money for this scaled down mediocre display, $500 for a 24" TV is absurd when you can get a 55" for around $1500-2000.
So let me get this right....
1. Sony decided to sue GeoHotz and his hackers pals for their custom firmware. A legal maneuver with little to zero chance of conviction. Hackers vowed revenge.
2. Sony to hackers: Bring it!
3. Well the hackers brought it. They pulled Sony's pants down, bent them across the table for a month long ass raping which resulted in compromised customer's financials, a month long PSN downtime and worst of all...do...
All this crying about unfairness and balance is pathetic. I'm sure that two weeks after release EA will unleash the $15 Unlimited Ammo Commando Weapon Pack DLC and the another $15 Invisible Cammo DLC thats only available if you buy it directly EA's new digital game download service.
As you can see, for a low, low price of $30 more you can have a perfectly balanced BF3 experience....that is until they release the vehicles and class based DLC packs. But those probably w...
Dead on. This is the direction the industry is heading, in a sense it's the console's version of the PC's MMO market where their idea is to keep you paying forever.
However he's wrong about iron sights, they rock. I suppose we could go back to what we had before iron sights and thats a floating crosshair in the middle of the screen.
BF 3 clearly won the show.
Sony won? With what?
Most of the excitement from E3 came from BF3 and Skyrim.
This gen of consoles is pretty much played out. Bring on the next gen, I'm excited. Games similar to BF3 with 32-64 players and dedicated servers should be the norm from now on.
I will say this about the next gen though. Bring me performance on par with the mid tier gaming PCs of today or don't even bother.
No worries. I used the downtime to build a bad ass gaming PC so it's all good.
Can't complain about the freebies either when the PSN is up, in the end everybody wins...well except for Sony.
