Man, the quality of the E3 models seems to be getting lower every year. WTF!!? I say screw the fancy booths and their cheesy props, just pour the entire budgets into some incredibly hot babes and that should draw all the foot traffic any company ever need.

WTF is a Commanche helicopter doing in an ARMA game? I know they're trying to jump a head a little and feature some of the so called future weapons but, well, the Commanche has no future. It was canceled a long time ago. Heck, they might as well throw a F23 Blackwidow in there while they're at it. That canceled stealth fighter looks a lot cooler than the F22.
Yeah this GPU can be a gaming powerhouse or an entry level notebook GPU. The details just isn't there right now. But even if we assume that it's the middle of the road GPU, something like the 6850 then the current gen of PS3 and 360 are done for.

If Nintendo can demo BF 3 with 32 players and better textures than the PS3 or 360's it could mean trouble for both camps. Sony and Microsoft need to start cranking out their new consoles and fast.
But in the PC gaming world this AMD GPU is basically entry level if its performance is closer to the AMD 6850. If the performance is akin to the 6870 then PS3 and 360 out there are going to be brutally crushed.
So much hype and promises, but all I'm seeing an average hack and slash. Maybe the combat might be a little deeper but RPG elements are looking skin deep.

3D gaming is probably one of this gen's biggest let down, right next to current crop of consoles inability to handle 1080p native.
On the console the PS3 is too underpowered to handle 3D games. Killzone 3 for example looks like shit in 3D with both the textures and frame rates taking a noticeable hit when 3D is enabled. Oh and I'm playing it on a Samsung 55D8000 LED 3D TV, top of the line stuff.

When console games are trying to be "more accessible" it means that we're looking at the beginning of the end of the core gamer.
Now that this article mentioned it all those Skyrim vids are starting to make the game look like an arcade first person hack and slash than an RPG.
Why? I can count the number of existing console MMO with a single finger.
Fallout Vegas felt like a real Fallout game, in fact it's more of a Fallout 3 than Beth's Fallout 3.
I seriously doubt that a bunch of console mercs toiling away on some random planet will have any impact on the EVE universe itself. The real power in the EVE universe belongs to the PC players corps.
E3 gameplay experiences rarely mirror actual gameplay on live servers so I'll take this with a grain of salt. For example in BC 2 a lot of my deaths were due to the uber snipers in that game. I'm glad Dice finally got wise and took a nerf bat to those bastards.
