jack, jack , jack...what else can be said???
dumb, dumb, dumb.
great read, solid advice for all 3 companies.
but until their costs drop drastically, I wouldn't expect it, and even the 65nm chip won't drop their price enough to bring them anywhere close to making a profit on the console. If it does happen, it will likely be next year, unless MS drops their price of course, which could force their hand early. Which is funny, cause I'm sure MS is waiting for sony to drop before they do. kind of a cat and mouse kinda thing.
I'll approve this, although I think he's way off.
halo, especially after halo 2's multiplayer has become a part of pop culture, much like GTA has. so people will want to play it just because everyone else is.
halo 3 will move consoles, and combined with the casual games out there for the 360, I think will give people reason to buy the 360.
if they called 1000 xbox 360 owners they would likely get an accurate answer, but an internet poll could be of a million people and be nowhere near as accurate.
the dev recently talked about it on the 360, you might want to pay attention.
he skirted around confirming it, but it seemed to be pretty obvious that it was in the cards...
sony has said no price cut anytime soon, and I believe it, they just cannot afford it yet.
whoever approved this needs to be seriously looked at.
this is a complete waste of time.
shame on N4G...
the beta was supposed to end on june 6th, but because there was a 1 day delay they added an extra 4 days till june 10th.
may as well buy crackdown, it's a great game.:)
if it was that big of an issue, the better business bureau would be all over.
anonymous internet surveys are not a news source...
but it had better blow my freaking mind if they expect me to pay 10$ more than PC users have to pay for the same game...
it's negative cause people were angry and dissapointed.
and that's sony's fault for causing the internet reaction. People loved the ps2, and people wanted to love the ps3, but then sony annouced the price, and it started going downhill from there.
and then everything stupid that their execs (kaz, ken, phil) were saying didn't help their cause.
now it's the internet's fault?
lol, WRONG.
the whole wii60 option is exaclty what I will be doing. I have zero interest whatsoever in HD movies (unless they are downloaded of course;). for the same price of the ps3 I get the best of the casual and hardcore gaming worlds, as well as a great online experience.
I may look at the ps3 again in a few years when the price is worth it, and there are enough titles to justify it. although who know, if the next xbox is due out in 2011, I may just skip sony this time around complet...
I can't wait to try and use the man cannon to try and jack the banshee:D
that was just stupid.
I have a number of Japanese products that have crapped out.
also the ps2 sold well, and the first batch had a massive defect in the dvd drive.
nice try though...
I can't believe people are still approving this news...
Movie releases are NOT gaming or tech news.
freaking sweeeet!
I can guarantee you the brick has little to nothing to do with it.
it is always about games, if people see enough games they want on a console, they will buy it, period.
MS and SONY need to get many more games in japan before people will see the need to buy their consoles.
america and Europe are getting games of interest to them, and there are selling fairly well in those places.
this was approved as an article, an opinion piece, not news.
