a victory to those opposed to free speech anyway...
hopefully the re-do this game for the 360:D
that was funny.
and it begs this question about the 2 consoles:
which is worse, having tons of games to play but your console has 3 red lights so you can't play them?
-or-
having the working console but desperately waiting for some great AAA games released so you can play on it?
cheers:)
cause according to the HDDVD, europe is really ataking to HDDVD.
amazing how they can all spin numbers:)
I know who's happy with this, MS. With another entrant to the high def market it just to adds more confusion, and will give them, netflix, walmart, amazon, even longer to get digital distribution entrenched before another useless disc format is able to take hold.
you say dumb things like that and think it will get bubbles back.
try saying intelligent things, it helps...
unfortunately for sony and the bluray folks, you are not the average buyer.
most of the blu ray players out there, are ps3's, which may be great for bluray in the long run, but not so much right now. the majority of the people who bought a ps3, bought it for games, not movies.
where as everyone who bought the standalone HDDVD players, bought them for movies.
bottom line:
anyone who thinks this format war is done, is an idiot.
...
it's going to be an excellent xmas for gamers. I hope sony tries much harder then they have so far, why? cause it will make MS try harder.
you can tell it was done for a ps3 fanboy site.
they assume that every ps3 bought means that those people are using it to buy and watch blu-ray movies. but based on the actual movies sales(from the same article) they clearly are not.
it's ready to start being manufactured and shipped to retailers.
except too human isn't out on another console already.
that's complete BS, their attitudes just reflect the current market. they are not anti anyone, they are just reporting.
and did you see their coverage of the ps3 at e3 last year?, they were completely hyped and excited about the ps3, but like everyone else, completely bummed at the price, and dissapointed at the missing features and lack of great games. which is what most of the industry and the gaming public is saying too.
I don't think the ps3 is dead by any means, but it needs a HUGE xmas '07 otherwise it will be looking quite bad, and with the huge titles coming for the other 2 consoles, it's going to be tough for them(halo3, the mario's, etc...).
I wonder how well would the 360 would be doing without this issue?
gamers want GAMES!
if sony got the price right they would have hit their 6 million target, instead of roughly 1/2 of it.
want to know who got the price right?....NINTENDO.
this is the stupidest thing i've heard.
and I feel sorry for those who actually believe it.
fanboys approve anything.
way to bring the quality of the site down.
title should be "some nobody chooses a console"...
I looked into a bit of the history of this current viral campaign, and it's some pretty in depth stuff!!

didn't eidos say they weren't going to bother with the ps3 till 2008?
but I think it did exactly what it was supposed to do. it gave me a taste of halo3, made me a bit more excited about what more there was, an by the end I was kinda bored of it, but definitely wanting more.
