enough already, this not freaking gaming or tech news, to those who approved it, you should have your contributor status revoked...
MS needs to make sure the 3 red lights dissapear if they want to make sure they win this round.
they are doing things very right so far, but the HW issues are becoming an issue. I have now had 3 friends plus myself have it, now MS agreed to fix 3 of them at no cost as they were under warranty, however one of my friends was out of warranty by 2-3 weeks and they refused to do anything. he paid it and then wrote a very nasty letter before they offered to credit 1/2 the repair cost...
if a dev expects to say sell only 300,000 units of their game on the ps3, and MS then gives them roughly that equivalent to make it exclusive, why wouldn't they?
If I ran MS, that's what I would do right now...
watch MS fix that soon;)
cause hackers will have full copy anytime now...
the caps lock thing isn't necessary.
we know you're an angry fanboy, there is no reason to yell about it.
and games would help immensly
I don't think it needs saving just yet.
however I do think that somthing like upscaling ps2/ps1 games would be something to make sure was done for release date. not having it from the get go was rather silly.
whatever, so he doesn't like the game, big whoop, it's his opinion andhe's entitled to it, as stupid as it is. The sales numbers it generates will prove him wrong...
the 360 needs to add upscaling to it's dvd, that would be nice.
get on the ball MS!
I can't believe 3 people agreed with you, that's sad and funny at the same time.
they need to add a feature so we can see who agrees and disagrees with posts.
keep editing you 1 allowed post, it's pathetic...
I can't believe this crap got approved.
new insrtuctions for approving news.
step 1: remove head from @ss
step 2: carefully review the submitted piece
step 3: set aside stupid fanboy personal opinions to view with an open mind
step 4: approve only quality news/articles/pics/vids/etc...
save us tons of wasted space on this site.
there is only one place to lay blame with the ps3's lack of success so far, and it has nothing to do with consumers.
he did not say it's exclusive to ps3, here is what he did say:
"The PS3 is like the theatre, it's a little bit high-priced but it has to be high quality as well," he explained. "The 360 is a DVD, it still needs to be high quality but you need more variations, while the Wii is almost like a TV channel, because every game you have is with your family".
So how does this relate to PS3 exclusivity, you may ask? When the subject changed to Devil May...
he said it's being devloped to run best on the ps3, but did not say it's exclusive. if he did, there would not be all these "rumours".
I agree, no high profile 3rd party exclusives was a pretty dumb thing to say.
and if it's never coming to the 360, then why don't they just say so. because they are not saying exclusive is what's leading most to believe otherwise.
with how well the 360 and wii are doing after their 6 months, and the lack of great titles for the ps3 on the shelves right now, I think that's why all the doom and gloom.
but you are right, xmas '07 I think will give a great idea as to who will actuly win, so the guesstimates till that point are pretty useless.
bill eats lawyers like jack for breakfast, this means zip other than a bit more publicity for halo 3(like it's at all necessary)
and it's just an opinion, so relax, can anyone truly say they know for sure it won't happen? it's unlikely but...
what if sony decides not to drop the price till like late 08/09?, what if blu ray loses? what if MGS and FF decide to go multi-platform?, what if MS goes on a developer buying spree? what if sony execs keep opening their mouths and spouting garbage?
sony has established a solid brand name when it comes to gaming, which will likely ensure their success...
although I think a title change would have been in order, likely would prevent some of the flaming.
