Dont know about yall but after the new update and the quick launch .. the system is a bit speedier than before and I can get to my games with ease. The difference between Nintendo and lets say microsoft is .. It looks like they are trying HARD to make the gamepad work instead of just dropping it at the first sign of trouble and making it an accessory to fade away.

I know everyone will kill me for saying this .. But I dont think wearable VR is going to have a place in the industry honestly. I personally think that the whole unified account system is an absolute must for their future. Iwata stated they wanted their OS / hardware to kinda work like apples does at their investment meeting. Essentially it is 1 platform where everything works together between all devices. IE if you bought angry birds on the iphone that version would work on the Ipad .. unless of course you buy an enhanced IPAD version.

The problem is Nintendo has a few things that the other console manufactures have had for a while. By adding these features it may not help as much as people would like BUT it will create less to complain about.

Pretty good number considering that Infamous Second Son (Sony exclusive with next gen graphics) sold 1 million + in 9 days on the market with a higher install base than the Wii U (6-7 million)..
with 6 extra days and more than likely 1 or 2 million more in sold install base it didn't do nearly as well.
I stopped reading this garbage after the first paragraph ... Guy is delusional .. It is true that the Wii U is selling very badly and MK8 might not save the Wii U alone .. In my eyes MK8 will create momentum that Nintendo will need to capitalize on with other titles. Mk8 will drive sales until Bayoneta, Smash, X, Yoshi Yarn , Hyrule Warriors, Zelda U come out to carry it even further.

It isnt required ...you can use whatever u want.. no one is forcing you to buy it. This accessory was made to appease the core hardcore smash player.. Everyone was begging for it, would you rather they not listen to their core audience???? The ones actually supporting the system right now??

200 for a refurb directly from Nintendo ... 250 on ebay for the Mario Lugi Bundle... 329 for Mario Kart bundle which includes 2 games and an extra controller.... 150-200 on Craigs list with accessories, extra controllers, and games...
All this complaining about price (not from the above poster but others) and you can buy the system for under 200 dollars second hand.

This controller is priced at 25 bux .. if it was built to operate like the pro controller it would most definitely would be double the price. Also you are right it is 2014 .. they already have a completely acceptable Wireless Controller called the Pro Controller.. This controller is just a licensed third party controller.
Also the previous Wii had slots for the gamecube wireless connectors.. the Wii U doesnt have that it is only USB.
