One thing I love about all of Nintendo's releases is that they all run like liquid butter with rarely any noticeable drops. Splatoon runs like BUTTER and all the colors POP.

Also you are paying 60 for continued free support.... I look at it more interms of paying upfront for content... And on a side note .. at least it will work at launch unlike other games like master chief edition and assassins creed.
I wish that Nintendo didnt ever have open voice chat (it rarely ever is good news in games I play like COD or CSGO), but private party chat. Their solution is very very simple... parent code the feature and only leave it open to people on your friends list.
It makes sense to not have open chat in game or by team because you always ALWAYS get people screaming nonstop or saying dumb things.. If you restrict it to your friends it solves all the issues people have with it.
Do you have no shame lol.. Show some respect to the developers who make the damn game. People work pretty hard to bring experiences like this to you and me.. Pay for software... incentive is you keep getting quality games.
Main reason they released it late is that they need all the devs working on it to complete the other platform titles that would actually make them their money...
ALSO, I personally think they thought that releasing it after Mario Kart and near Smash Brothers would yield better sales because the install base would grow substantially due to those mega releases.
The problem is .. by releasing this after the entire world bought it already does it no favors. And unjustly puts pressure on its performance on the Wii U.. Ubi will say it didnt perform well when they know how they released it was the reason..
Fastest selling new IP on the market.. sold millions across all other platforms.. Who is going to buy this? Only person that will buy this is someone who hasnt played it on any of the other 5 platforms... Chances that a person only OWN...

Drive club had the luxury of being a launch title and then delayed outside the launch window. During that time it was pushed at every single sony event.. So its sales had more to do with it being pushed ontop of the genre it supported.
You changed what you originally said... First you said they dont have the best.. then later you said they have the best selling.. Do sales not drive what is best? If they dont then you cant argue the PS4 is the best system on the market simply based on sales... It sold more so it should be the best?

None of those titles outsell any of the core Nintendo first party titles lifetime... with an install base of 80 million the last of us hasn't even sold over 5 to 6 million copies... vs Mario Kart Wii (same gen as the ps3) sold 30 million on 100 million install base...
Halo has been trending downward in terms of sales.. the games don't sell over 10 million copies historically .. by contrast COD sells better than Halo and both franchises have shown significant fatigue.....
The sales year over year have doubled... Also pre orders for Smash Bros are higher than Mario Kart. Nintendos previous press releases have stated that Mario Kart Preorders and purchases after launch lead to Wii U sales increasing exponentially...

Not all cores are the same.. Altho I agree it is the same architecture .. the cores arent like the the 360 cores. There have been tons of discussions on how they are different along with the bandwidth of the ram.
In essence they are same because of the architecture.. but the speed of the parts arent the same and neither is the bandwidth.
Developers dont want to figure out how to make things work better on the Wii U and have them not sell as well.
I think the crux of this whole third party issue with the Wii U stems from the architectural differences of the system. Altho the Wii U shares some similar architecture with the xbox 360 it still works very differently. The strong points of the system arent exactly the same either. So it takes much more time and research to get a game to run efficiently and up to snuff (IE why watchdogs is delayed).

You are out of your mind if you think that... even in close quarters combat keyboard and mouse has the advantage.. The second someone shoots you in the back a k&m player can whip the mouse around instantly and stop on a dime to kill whoever is shooting.

Most all console shooters have aim assist to make it easier to track and shoot players more precisely. Keyboard and mouse players have to actually aim exactly where they want to shoot. If console gamers didn't have aim assist it would be much harder to track people and kill them. PC gamers have other advantages such as higher fps, higher DPI, higher resolution... in general the PC gamer has every advantage over someone on a console.

Well both watchdogs and project cars were both delayed so that the games could get some TLC. Ubi has proven they can really develop for the platform so I tend to somewhat agree with their approach. Get out the platform you know will drive sales and then focus on Wii u after for any bonus sales.

The funny part about some of the gripes people have about splatoon is the 5 multiplayer maps included at launch... If you are a player who has ever played any of the said above games... Mainly CS and TF2 lol ... You would know 95% of the games played are on a handful of maps...
