I'm pretty sure he meant it's ahead of Call of Duty in terms of destruction. Fixed. lol Cause Battlefield and CoD are the two most popular lately. If CoD ever gets destruction, I'll be happy. It's ridiculous when a huge airstrike comes in and it kills you while you're inside a building yet the building itself has absolutely NO damage.
And then you've got times where someone is sitting sniping from an open window from a building and yo...
A $200 PS3 would definitely allow the PS3 to dominate for several months to a year. That's the sweet price point for a console to get to. Loads of exclusive game, plus free games on third party games (1943 on Battlefield 3 and Bioshock 1 free with Bioshock Infinite), plus free PSN, plus an awesome pricepoint would equal huge success.
I hope MAG 2 ups the player count to around a thousand or so. That would definitely bring the immersion level through the roof. I'd like to see an online multiplayer game where it's the old times (like the Scorpion King movie) and both teams line up and you all just rush each other in an open desert environment and fight team deathmatch style. Would be awesome!
I wish Sony would bring that Trophy Hall of Fame to PlayStation Home like they talked about a long time ago. Home has so much potential. I'm hoping that either on the PS3 or PS4 they'll integrate it much more into the XMB (or whatever interface the have at the time).
I'm hoping that on the PS4, Home will BE the interface. I'm sure it'll have enough RAM for it to work. You turn the PS4 on and you wake up in your Home apartment or Home Space. ...
I wish I could get into the beta for this. It looks like such an awesome and unique title. I love how Sony supports small, niche developers. Sony truly wants their system to have a wide variety of exclusive content.
I'd say it's safe to say that everyone WANTS it to happen, but the likelihood of it happening is slim at best. It would be cool though. I'll say this. If you guys think trash talking is bad on CoD now, wait until there's an option for one team to be Xbox users and one team to be PlayStation users. Now THAT would be crazy. Poeple would NEVER shut the heck up!
I liked Final Fantasy 8 the best out of any of them.
That's actually a great idea. They could make two versions of some games and put both on the same bluray disc. However, one reason why that might not work is that the PlayStation 4 will likely use a faster BR drive and likely a quad layer BR disc (around 100GB or more). I like your thinking though. It would allow you to buy a PS4 and still be able to play some games at a buddy's house who still only has a PS3. Smart thinking! Bubbles up!
"Sony must be in panic mode over there...they have BILLIONS in loses still on the books and need another couple years of growth to get them off...I wonder if they will launch a console as well???"
You do realize that Sony has bought back the factory that makes the Cell chips? All Sony has to do for their next console is put in a 32 SPU Cell chip and 4 to 8GB of RAM, a faster Bluray Drive, add some new features, put in a standard party system and cross game chat, ...
That's what I was thinking too. Halo 4 would be the perfect launch title for a new Xbox. Although, even though I'll likely be picking up an Xbox 720, I won't be getting Halo. It's just not my cup of tea.
Since the 360 has a limited supply of exclusives, a new Halo trilogy would be the new Xbox's "killer app" so to speak.
I will say this though: If the Xbox 720 is anymore than $400, I'm not getting it day one. ...
LOL Really?... You WANT to pay MS money? You say you'd "rather have to pay for Live to get all its features."? Why? You must make a hell of alot more money than me man, cause I'm a little more reluctant to give away money to someone who's giving me little more than other gaming services that are free (i.e., PSN, Steam). I'll be completely frank here. If XBL were free, I'd be MUCH more willing to get a 360. (BTW, I did have one awhile back, but so...
Such a good game, guys. It's hands down the best baseball series on console. Anyone with a PS3 (and those without one yet) need to get their hands on this game if you're a true baseball fan, like me. The analog pitching/batting takes some getting used to, but the game overall has such an authentic feel to it that you'll want to play for hours. It truly feels like you're actually there at a real baseball game.
Wow, man. I agreed with you up until the whole "ass explosion" part. lmao haha
@newn4gguy (below)
Yeah, man. I can definitely see Sony putting the Android market on the PS Vita since Sony and Google seem to be pals these days.
Isn't the Vita getting a Street Fighter X Tekken game??? Wasn't that announced at E3 this year? Oh wait, yes, it was.
I completely agree. It looks very interesting and different and truly unique. I'm most likely gonna pick it up. I've had my eye on this one for awhile now.
Probably limited technology. Handhelds are limited alot, unless of course you're talking about the Vita. lol It's a real workhorse. I'm sure the 3D being on the game put a strain on the 3DS, making it difficult to have a high framerate.
This is all cool and good, but where are the new IPs?? Where are your own Heavy Rains and The Last Guardians and LittleBigPlanets etc. etc.?? Nintendo is the absolute worst at giving more of the same. They're the Activision of console manufacturers. FYI, Nintendo, if you're saying you're wanting to give us originality, please make some new AAA IPs for us to play, not more Mario, Zelda, Kirby [insert adjective] etc. Keep on making Mario etc. That's fine, but give us...
I'm gonna just get the wifi version cause I'll likely have a 4G hotspot capable cell phone in the near future and I can use that to game online no matter where I'm at. Also, I'm sure eventually Sony will release a 4G antenna Vita that will allow for "anywhere on the go" online gaming. Until then, however, I'll use the aforementioned setup.
This thing is priced right, has all the latest tech in it, has seemingly awesome online features (Party System/Cross Game Chat, Near, etc.), and all major devs. have signed on to develop for it. I'll take the Wifi model, please, Sony! Thank you.
It might happen in this next generation of consoles, PS4 and Xbox 720. You never know how powerful they may be.
