I quite enjoyed the Matrix game on the PS2. That game was awesome! It even included actual movie cutscenes that filled in plot gaps from the second two movies. So neat.
I liked seeing Facebook integration with the online multiplayer of Uncharted 3. It's cool to be able to invite your Facebook friends directly over PSN. I hope to see this feature implemented into more games in the future and hopefully it's implemented into the system when the PS4 comes out.
Social network integration like Twitter and Facebook are going to be more commonplace among games, especially when the Xbox 720 and PS4 come out.
I might actually buy me a 3DS so I can play it until the Vita comes out. It has some neat games for it coming out. I haven't had a handheld since my PSP a couple years back.
The Vita should definitely have the better AR games since it's got a much better processor and likely a better camera (front and rear cameras too). That tech demo shown using the Vita with the dinosaur that walked around on whatever you had your camera on was neat.
I will not stop buying hard copies until they stop offering them. I'll be buying bluray games until they force me to buy digital copies. I hope the PS4 offers its games on a 100GB Quad Layer BR disc and the PS4 has a read speed of 8X or 16X. I also hope that on the PS4, they offer the option to copy the disc to the HDD, if you so choose. It would be very cool, too, if they offered the OPTION of buying every game, day and date, via the PS Store, so that those who WANT to can b...
Doesn't Nintendo kinda have to drop the price since the PS Vita is going to be at the same price point of $250. If they both were to be the same price, alot of people would grab the Vita for its graphics, cross platform gameplay, online, party chat, etc. etc. over the 3DS. Of course, you've got your Nintendo fanatics who'll buy the 3DS anyway, but you've also got people who compare features of handhelds before they buy. That's not to say that the 3DS doesn't h...
lol Racist much? haha j/k Anyway, this display does look nice. I do wish it was around the 32" inch size instead of a mere 24" though.
Journey is going to be such an awesome game. The vibe it gives is just so amazing. The open desert just waiting to be explored.
I hope the PS4 ends up having at least 4GB of RAM. That would be nice. I'm sure the Xbox 720 will too.
Sorry man. Maybe one day MS will invest in more first party studios and you'll get some of those elusive first party exclusive games. Sony is actually VERY smart by buying up all the studios it has. That guarantees that they'll have games that will help to differentiate the PS3 (and PS4) from other consoles. MS's approach is to make an online platform to differentiate itself, which is fine, but when Sony does catch up and brings all of Live's features to the PS3/PS4,...
I hope Quickscoping has been taken out of this one. I can't stand people who do that. It's just, for lack of a better word, retarded. haha I'm sort of excited for this game, but I hope it plays more like CoD4 and less like MW2 and Black Ops. I want the gameplay to rely more on YOU actually doing the killing and NOT YOUR PERKS! I can't stand seeing some guy get like 10-15 kills in a row from a harrier or a gunship up in the air just killing people like crazy...
A God of War horde type mode with co-op where you and a couple buddies fight endless waves of enemies would be pretty cool.
I'd chalk a lot of the Wii's success up to the large amount of Nintendo fans and the fact (more importantly) that it was the cheapest of the three consoles. Price is always the trump card. The majority of Americans don't have a ton of disposable income and a lot of parents chose the Wii for their kids due to its price. Had the PS3 or 360 been the cheap console like the Wii was, I'd say they would have enjoyed the number one sales position. Of course, the novelty of t...
How bout they just use Nolan North and Claudia Black and all the other actual voice actors. They look nearly the same as their game counterparts.
LOL Oops. I don't know why I said that. So many first party studios to learn about when you're talking about Sony that I sometimes get them confused. haha
I'd say Twisted Metal is a "sure bet" because Jaffe doesn't make crappy games. God of War 3 is proof of that. The new online multiplayer looks awesome. That "Nuke" mode looked cool as hell when they showed it at E3 2010.
PS4 MIght Continue Using the Cell architecture, Just upgraded RAM etc.
I have a feeling that Sony will simply continue using the Cell architecture so that devs. won’t have to re-learn new hardware to develop for the PS4. The PS4 will likely have a 32 SPU Cell architecture with around 4GB of RAM and an upgraded graphics card. The upgraded RAM will help out “lesser” developers like Activision to make pretty games without having to use the Cell. Bluray drives have come down in p...
It's really not all that surprising. These consoles and handhelds are designed and tested years and years ahead of their release. The PS4 is probably already almost complete and was probably started on right after the PS3's release. Research and Development takes aLOT of time and aLOT of money. Can't wait for my PS Vita. Can't decide on whether I want a Wifi or 3G/Wifi model, though. I'll probably go ahead and get the 3G, just in case.
Yeah, I've noticed that as well. It was genius as hell of Sony to give everyone a free month of PS+. They gave them a taste of it and now some are buying a full year's worth. If you play more games than just CoD all the time, and like to play alot of different genres of games and arcade games, PS+ is a great deal for you. You get tons of free games and discounts. The Cloud saving is cool. And the best feature is the Automatic Download feature where you can set the P...
Yeah, too bad there's not a bubble down option for "Late to the Party" or "Unoriginal Joke". lol
