That's awesome, man. It's good to do a little nostalgic gaming sometimes. I started playing through Final Fantasy 8 (PSOne Classic) again to relive some memories of my childhood gaming years. lol
You can get the Resistance 3 demo from the bluray movie of Battle LA. lol That's how I got it. Good movie, btw, regardless of all the flak it got.
lol Oh, didn't realize it was worth that much. Ok, yeah, I doubt Sony would ever pay that much. That's a LOT!
I'd like to see Sony buy them up. Imagine a 50GB GTA with a city 5 times larger than San Andreas and more cars and things to do than ever. Take Two as a Sony first party studio would be incredible. However, it would take a HUGE sum of money for Sony to be able to buy them up. Probably upwards of $100 Million.
I'm so excited for this game. I never bought Warhawk, but I'll be picking this up for sure.
And I also agree that the disagree system needs a change. I think all disagrees should require an explanation. It's annoying.
Agreed, man. Panic knifing and the Commando perk are two things that piss me off in MW2. It's good to see that Battlefield 3 isn't going to offer that form of gameplay. Realism works for the best in this case.
An interesting looking game. I might get it since I get a discount through PS+. It's good to support unique titles like this. That's why I've got Heavy Rain and Flower. These types of games are a nice change of pace from the usual CoD. I'll also be picking up Journey when it comes on PSN.
I can definitely see Nathan Drake and Uncharted being HEAVILY marketed when the PlayStation 4 comes out in a few years. Imagine Uncharted 4 as a launch title. I'm sure Killzone 4, LittleBigPlanet 3, Gran Turismo 6 will all make appearances on the PS4 too and that would be a killer launch lineup for the PS4. Price the PS4 at $400 for the lowest model, make it fully Backward Compatible with PS3 games, and they'd have themselves a winner.
It kinda reminds me of Portal 2 a little bit too because of all the changing perspectives you have. (Like going from one portal to another and the camera moving on you.) I'll probably purchase this after I buy Journey.
That's true, I guess. There are other features that XBL Gold offers you, BUT I offer you this question: If online gaming were free like PSN, and Gold offered you all those features you just mentioned, do you think you would pay for Gold anymore? I'm honestly curious. It's an interesting question. Kinda hard to say, I suppose. I'm just curious how much people REALLY care about those features, or if they just buy Gold subscriptions to keep playing games online. ...
Gotta love getting free games, Cloud saving, automatic downloading, and discounted games for $50 a year, instead of just being given the ability to play the online component of your already bought game. lol
PS+ has already paid for itself 3 fold for me. I will definitely be re-upping my subscription when it goes out in another year. Can't wait to play some Limbo!!!!
I'm pretty sure that Sony said the battery life will be comparable to that of the PSP's battery life. I'm thinking it will be around 5 hours, which, while that's not that much, is more than I'll likely ever need. I'm sure the next iteration of the device will improve the battery life, and, hopefully, add in a 4G antenna so we can do mobile online gaming on the go.
Agreed, to an extent. I hope there's a lot of games like the game they showed at E3 where you can play the game on either the PS3 or the Vita, save the game to the cloud, and instantly continue playing on the other device. Now THAT'S what I'm talking about!! Imagine playing sports games like Madden or MLB: The Show on the PS3 and then copying your save to the Cloud server and continuing your game on the road. How awesome that would be!
lol I highly doubt you'll be "finishing up MW's storyline with MW3". Maybe when there's a MW6, Activision will decide to do something different. It's their new cash cow and they're going to milk those utters dry.
I have massive hands and I don't have any problems whatsoever using my PS3 controller. Your point? lol
Anyway, I'm super psyched for Battlefield 3. Battlefield 2 was an amazing game back in the day and had support for a LONG time and I know this game is going to be the same. No cookie cutter shooter here, folks. Just dedication and hard work and innovation.
I'm pretty sure the PS Vita's games have been announced to be priced at $40 USD. That's pretty reasonable, I'd say. Sure, it could be cheaper, but it could have also been more expensive.
Yes! I want the old FUN GTA games back! San Andreas was the epitome of fun. There was so much fun stuff to do. Climbing the huge mountain and parachuting off, or just jumping off. Skydiving. Hijacking planes and helicopters. Working out that actually affected your stamina (running). ETC, ETC, ETC. GTA 4 took out all the fun from GTA and made it, dare I say, TOO realistic. Another gripe about GTA 4 was the driving physics. Man!!! They were terrible. ...
Ok, look, Square, bring us back to the days of good FF games like FF 7 and FF 8. I loved FF 8. We had towns, multiple side quests, airships, shops, chocobo forests, card games, etc. So much stuff to do. Yes, the story was somewhat linear, but you could still go about it in a much more open way. You could do what you wanted when you wanted to--to an extent. I'm not expecting these things to return completely but please, please bring some of this stuff back. ...
I personally hope they both release in the same holiday season. Both come out either November 2012 or November 2013. There would be some serious fights going on in WalMarts and Gamestops. lol I'll probably get them both next time if the prices are right. I might even buy two of both so I can sell one of each and make some cash.
PS4 MIght Continue Using the Cell architecture, Just upgraded RAM etc.
I have a feeling that Sony will simply continue using the Cell architecture so that devs. won’t have to re-learn new hardware to develop for the PS4. The PS4 will likely have a 32 SPU Cell architecture with around 4GB of RAM and an upgraded graphics card. The upgraded RAM will help out “lesser” developers like Activision to make pretty games without having to use the Cell. Bluray drives have come down in ...
