Yeah, you're right...you're right. They're ugly...... if you're GAY! lol As for me both the voice actors of Chloe and Elena are insanely gorgeous.
Uncharted 3 is going to be a wonderful game, I'm sure. I love how Naughty Dog has inspired other developers to start doing mo-cap sequences in their games. I can't imagine what we'll start seeing next generation in our games. Maybe we'll have the option to insert our own faces/bodi...
I'd say it's the distant future at best. In the U.S, at least, reliable and speedy internet connections still aren't as prevalent as what it would take for streaming to take over discs (DVD, Bluray). Until I can get a 50MB connection out in the sticks (country slang lol), I'm not going fully streaming. Plus, with discs, we can let friends borrow games and movies. With streaming, you simply cannot (yet anyway).
In Japan, however, I'd say stream...
I wish all these companies would remove paid dlc. Put the content on the disc before the game releases OR, if you they must release it as dlc, make it FREE. Hell, if a gamer were to have bought Black Ops at launch and then bought every subsequent dlc map pack, they would have spent at this point around $100 or more. That's ridiculous!! DLC should either be FREE, on the disc, or non-existent. DLC is the biggest cash-in of this generation. And, sadly, it's working. Th...
GTA 5 will hopefully return to the fun that GTA once was. That's what GTA has lost: fun. San Andreas was the peak of fun GTA games. Vice City was also very good. I hope San Andreas is Rockstar's inspiration for GTA 5 and I also hope GTA 5 will be on the PS4 and Xbox 720 instead of on current gen consoles.
Well..uh...quoted. lol That pretty much sums it up. Steam has earned its reputation and deserves its success. It's good us gamers have game services that offer online gaming that's free of charge. Game services that have friends lists and voice chat, etc. that are free of charge. Wouldn't it be better if all game networks offered these things for free.... Oh wait, they mostly all do. PSN, Wii Online, Steam, etc. all do those things for free. But...hmm, isn&...
Come on, man. lol The Zune isn't as good as the iPod. Apple's ecosystem of devices is so much more integrated. Now, if they make this new Xbox Music work with the Zune and you can buy music and then sync up your Zune to your music/media library, then that would be awesome!
Exactly, games like Pixeljunk, Flower, and the upcoming game called Journey are all examples of this. Sony supports the hell out of small devs.
It won't matter if you buy the game new. I wish more people would buy new games instead of feeding monsters like Gamestop.
The MP beta is pretty awesome. The airplane level is pretty cool. It feels like a single player experience but online with other people. Way to innovate, Naughty Dog!!
Qriocity, Cloud saving, and Automatic Downloading all say hi, buddy. Sony does add features. All the time. And, about the PSN Pass "crap", don't you believe for a second that MS won't do that eventually with its published games. All game companies are doing it. It's an attempt to curb used game sales and renting of games.
If more people would buy NEW games, these extra fees wouldn't be implemented. The PSN Pass, EA Pass are just the beg...
LMFAO hahaha So true. I mean yeah, it's good they're trying to fix the glitches now, but to be honest, glitches are still probably gonna be there either way. And so will the completely unbalanced multiplayer component from MW2.
Actually I'm curious as well. Cause if they call it the Xbox 3 and then the PS4 comes out, that will make it look inferior. It will be interesting to see what MS calls it. And I know I've heard people saying that Sony might not call it "PS4" cause 4 is an unlucky number in Japan, but I would still bet my money on it that the next PlayStation will be called PS4. It just makes sense.
Consoles will always have the trump card due to not having to deal with upgrading all the time. You buy your console and you're done. You can go out and buy all the game you want for that console and never have to worry about them not working due to hardware requirements. Not only that, but there are alot of niche titles like Journey (I can't wait for that game!!!), Flower, and Pixeljunk that are only on consoles.
@evrfighter
lol Yeah, the irony. ...
Thanks for the heads up. I was gonna click the link, but didn't after reading your comment. I'll probably end up buying MW3 as much as I hate to. Friends on PSN will be the deciding factor for me. If I see everyone on my list playing it (which I'm sure I will), I'll probably pick it up. I'll definitely be getting Battlefield 3 though. That's a definite purchase, but MW3 will probably be too.
I sure wish explanations came with all these disagrees. lol I don't know what I said that you're disagreeing with. Please explain. If you don't have the courage to explain it on here, then message me via PSN. PSN:blumatt
I can't see Sony making another disc format for the PS4. It will probably use a 100GB Quad Layer bluray disc and offer consumers the choice to either buy its games digitally (via the PS Store) or on disc (retail stores, WalMart etc.).
The PS4 MIght Continue Using the Cell architecture with just upgraded RAM etc.
I have a feeling that Sony will simply continue using the Cell architecture so that devs. won’t have to re-learn new hardware to develop for th...
Anyway, it's pretty obvious we're approaching a new generation of consoles within the next couple of years. However, I'm not gonna be mad about not having 24 players online on this game. I'm sure next generation we'll have well over that number. Until then, I'll be happy with what we've got. Besides, there are games that do over that this generation: MAG (256 players), Resistance 2 (60 players), etc.
Yeah, I'm definitely going with PS3 this time around. It's funny Bioshock started out 360 console exclusive and is now multiplatform and even being given PS3-specific features (Move and 3D). Looks like a very fun game and has nice visuals as well.
I have a feeling that Sony will simply continue using the Cell architecture so that devs. won't have to re-learn new hardware to develop for the PS4. The PS4 will likely have a 32 SPU Cell architecture with around 4GB of RAM and an upgraded graphics card (possibly still RSX, but maybe something new). The upgraded RAM will help out "lesser" developers like Activision to make pretty games without having to use the Cell. Bluray drives have come down in price significantly...
Well, I guess it's good that the Vita does so much more than JUST gaming. It's a multimedia powerhouse and I'm sure it will have Skype, which will allow it to be your phone (in a way, not a fully functional cell phone). Don't be so quick to call out dedicated handhelds just yet, LG. The Vita has a huge chance to turn the tide on cell phone gaming domination. Something else it has it cross platform play between the PS Vita, PS3, and, in some cases, PC.
I wish all the voice actors would get to play as themselves in the Uncharted movie. It would make for a very Uncharted-like experience that the fans would connect better with since we're used to hearing those voices and seeing their faces in the games.
