"Now I might just pick it up thanks to some hackers. Way to shoot yourself in the foot."
By buying the game wouldn't that be the opposite of "making them pay"? Unless of course by picking it up you actually mean pirate.
Its like watching them die right in front of me... :(
I actually took the survey a few months back. Now at that time there was no mention to actually charge people to play online (although that could have changed). What was being asked about and tossed around was multiple "tiers". Paying a fee not to play the game but for extra stuff. Some of the options were:
"ability to play without having stats tracked so you could practice"
"ability to customize characters and weapons"
"ability to have...
Please, don't let him anywhere near this franchise.
I wonder what kind of awful taste this statement must have left in his mouth?
They cry hypocrisy yet if the game was ps3 exclusive most of the people on here would be splooging about how amazing and groundbreaking it is and rubbing it in 360 owners faces, so the hypocrisy goes both ways.
"story is okay although i havn't completed it so i wont comment" contradiction much?
Because all of a sudden, bagging on MW2 seems to be the "cool" thing to do here on n4g.
You can't really tell the difference. Whats more important is maintaining a smooth framerate. If they can maintain 30fps with no drop in framerate than they will be able to manage more going on onscreen at once.
Been waiting for a comparison to see if an upgrade was warranted and I would say it definitely is.
Looks rather cool, although am I the only one who thinks the "o" and the "f" should be inverted? As it stands it looks like "End fo Eternity" which I still like better than "Resonance of Fate".
Who would have thought a screenshot of a suppossed leaked score would cause such a damn uproar...
Just got my email code for the demo for pre-ordering on Amazon. Forgot all about it being a pre-order bonus. Needless to say I was ECSTATIC when I saw the email. Can't wait for the download to finish!
I would at least like clarification as to whether or not they had the game installed to the xbox hard drive. I'm interested to see if the game being "optimized for installation" provides much of an improvement.
I can completely understand implementing this in play lists that do not have any respawn, but why, for the love of god, can i not play team deathmatch while in party chat? Ridiculous that if I'm chatting with friends who aren't even playing the same game I'm restricted to a measly 3 playlists.
Open zone is that way ----->
Not necessarily, I'd be disappointed by this as I always prefer private chat and do not use it to cheat. I just like to be able to have a conversation with my buddies without having to deal with all of the annoying idiots on live. Often we're not even playing the same game. That said, I definitely understand why this would be necessary in games/modes which do not have respawning.
Wow, so now we're comparing 2 games we haven't seen even a single screenshot off?
Box looks nice but I'd like to have an idea of how well manufactured it is before I would think of buying it. And I hope the inclusion of those downloadable extras doesn't signify that they have decided to charge us for extras that have historically been included as unlockables in the GoW series.
Unfortunately I can see this game being a victim of the already crowded first half of 2010. Smart move to hopefully garner a bit more attention with the $40 price point though.
