This is wishful thinking and it would never happen, BUT what if we got a release date for THIS year. That would be freaking HUGE if it were to release by the end of the year. But they won't due to Death Stranding.
Regardless, HYPE!!!!!!!
I want to add further to this. This means Epic paid an equivalent of 250K copies if Control were sold on Steam. So if we put together that in order to make the same amount of money on the EGS, they would have to have sold 200K copies. That's only roughly 50K difference in copies being sold to make the same amount of money.
Honestly, the difference to be sold to make the same amount of money isn't that much different. What makes it enticing for big publishers to do ...
I never really saw why people had such an issue with the batmobile. I loved it personally. It bought something new to the table while remaining a batman game. If they didn't add the batmobile then it would have felt like the game has not evolved much and started getting old. They had to bring some innovation to it. The world felt seamless and I feel like everybody looked past the positives to point out the negatives (which I agree regarding the boss battles).
Jesus, if this is true then that is a LOT of money. You know what they say, money talks and bullshit walks.
I'm the opposite. Now that we know a general idea of this social link mechanic, think I will wait until I see what people think about it (and I'm not talking about review sites like IGN or Polygon either).
I dunno, from what we gotten in that 50 minute demo, I found myself bored to be quite honest from the gameplay perspective. I think this game will be well received critically and sell a crap ton of copies, but it may divided when it comes to user reviews.
Why are we comparing the two? Can't we just stop comparing for 1 second and just be happy with the accomplishment of something. Not everything needs to be compared these days.
I don't mind if they update everything to modern standards. I am tired of lazy remasters where they simply add a higher resolution though. Dark Souls Remastered is probably one of the most disappointing remastered games I have ever played. Would have preferred if they updated the graphics to the Dark Souls 3 engine. That would have been awesome.
Cool for people who never tried it out before or want to have another round with it. Personally I won't care much for it if true. Happy for those who will be though.
It be cool if we can see Bluepoint Games next project that is supposedly Re-Envisioning of a former title.
I think it will be good. Only thing I'm worried about is how will Bethesda screw it up. Their last 4-5 titles has been alright at best but lately all their games had something that was not needed such as open-world for Rage 2 or repeated mission structure in Wolfenstein Youngblood (along with terrible characters). A few other problems include their games being buggy at launch, as well as having some sort of live-service game or incorporated microtransactions (which should not be in a sing...
I sense that the next major Batman game will be Epic Exclusive for a year. I can already smell it.
I just now entered 100 hours into this game and I can't stop playing. Very addicting. Definitely the best Microsoft exclusive in a long time, probably the entirety of this gen from them.
Or just wait for next gen consoles. They will be backwards compatible.
Great, more launchers to deal with. This is such a great idea for consumers!!! (said no one ever)
I stopped reading after the 2nd paragraph. It's clearly trying to be clickbait, and I fell for it.
Part of the reason why I didn't find RDR2 all that fun to play. Too much realism. That's another reason why I don't think Ghost Recon Breakpoint won't be good. They are adding these unnecessary realism survival aspects to it, along with random loot like the division.
From what I saw on Digital Foundry, it doesn't run that great in both performance and resolution mode. Lots of frame-drops ,hitches, slowdowns and stutter.
Not surprised, its an established IP so many people are familiar with it.
Pretty sure gamepass has alot to do with it. I'm not too worried.
I thought it was a solid game, and has alot of room for improvements. What is most important is they they learned alot from making Sunset Overdrive to Spiderman. You can tell it had alot of influences.
I be interested in a sequel, though I hope they improve the story as I never cared much for the plot. Gameplay was pretty solid. Graphics were cool and funky. I hope the soundtrack is more memorable too as I found it generic honestly.
