I was wondering why there was a lack of reviews for BL3. Can't say I'm surprised though, more and more games are doing this to get the most out of the week 1 sales.
Platinum Games has alot of their plate, they just release Astral Chain. If anything the topic should be about Bayonetta 3 as that was announced before Babylon's Fall, and we yet to see anything from that either.
It's not really even Assassin Creed anymore. I don't know why they didn't name it something else.
Most of it has been resolved now. Haven't had any server issues in the last few days.
It's certainly the best console exclusive that Xbox has had in quite a while. I'm loving every minute of it so far, already got 50 hours in it.
Ubisoft now has a template for all future titles:
1) Huge open-world
2) Create it as an online live service game
3) Must be 50-60 hours long with lots of padding
4) Implement a type of rpg mechanic
5) Loot, loot, and more LOOT for their character and weapons
6) Story and memorable moments for single-player in the backburner
7) Rip South-Park and Splinter Cell

I was hoping it would be a 4 player co-op style of game, but this could be potentially fun if done right.
That is pretty impressive considering Fortnite's popularity.
I am absolutely loving the multiplayer,especially Horde mode. The matches get super intense and I am so happy to be playing Gears again after so long (never got the chance to play Gears of War 4). Also finished the campaign and it was very good overall. Very excited for the future road map to see what new things they add to the game to further enhance the gaming experience.

Meh, I haven't purchased anything from Gamestop since 2011 so I honestly couldn't care less. I'm surprised they're still around kicking tbh. It does suck for employees will may be laid off though. I hope they do end up finding another job.
I can understand your views about the multiplayer. Unfortunately microtransactions are nothing new, especially in a multi-player game. But it is better than lootboxes, since that is what most people complain about. I hate buying randomized loot. Thankfully in the game, you can unlock a ton of customization for your characters with the new progression system for free, and alot of them can only be done through the progression system.

Long as it's better than that boring Borderlands The Pre-Sequel. I know it wasn't made by gearbox but still, that game was boring. BL3 though looks like it's everything that made BL2 so good. Sucks I won't be playing this until next year though. It's fine though, there's plenty of other games to occupy me in the meantime.
I'm loving the gameoverall and it's a definite step-up from Gears of War 4. There is so much replayability in this game. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't done so. Best of all, no paid loot boxes.
I'm halfway through the campaign, and it's definitely the shakeup it needed. It may not be everyone' cup of tea, but I certainly think it's great they decide to change things up a bit for the campaign. All the better for what they can learn from this and implement the experience into Gears 6. It's already a massive improvement from Gears of War 4.
I think this could be a really fun multiplayer spinoff title. Long as PVE is the main focus here and it's not like that disaster Operation Raccoon City. Definitely very curious to see how the game plays out if it's in the style of Left 4 Dead/World War Z where the players go through a level/campaign or if it's just one lengthy campaign.

The story has me super intrigued but like his past projects, I hope he doesn't go super vague into the story. Not surprised. Long as its purely and only cosmetic. Anything from guns to attachments should not be purchaseable or in lootboxes to give players an edge.
