It's Edge. Their reviews are usually very harsh.
That's really short considering this is being treated as a GaaS title.
Let's just hope there is enough to do when it launches and that they don't cut out half the content to be used for later.
This is probably one of the worst cases of microtransactions where literally everything is for sale with real money in a game. Sad thing is, no matter how much we complain about this people are still gonna buy it. Our voices don't mean much to Ubisoft because all they care about is profit and putting little originality into their games.
Who said they would support mods? You saw what happened to GTA V. People were being banned for using single-player mods in the single-player mode. I doubt Rockstar and 2K will support mods, they want everyone to buy their microtransactions.
Is anyone really all that surprised?
I grew out of Pokemon. I used to love them but honestly got bored of them due to having the same structure nearly every game. It got old, tiresome and predictable. It was the same thing every time. 8 gyms, some evil shady team interested with a legendary and taking over the world or something. The story was always the same thing. I actually really enjoyed Pokemon Colosseum and XD Gale of Darkness because they tried to be different.
Not to mention the games are usually too ...
So basically judging from the leaked screen-shot, this game is confirmed to have loot. Just why? This game does not need freaking loot drops. Just makes the characters have a base stat and be done with it. I don't want to worry about equipping gear for my characters in The Avengers game. It's so unnecessary.
Less talking and more showing.
A store war shouldn't even be a thing. It's stupid and splits the entire PC community. It ruins what made PC gaming so great in the first place.
You can pretty much say that about any game. What makes Gears 5 an important subject for this topic? Forbes is really trying hard for clicks.
I'll go ahead and bite on trying the game when it releases. I do hope it's good, it's just hard to be excited for the gameplay aspect. I'm fully on board for the story and lore however. Hope I am wrong and the game turns out to be fun.
Nah it was pretty lousy. Only maybe 3-5 games were good, rest were clearly budget titles.
Honestly it's not impressive graphically if they have that many people involved, and even less impressive when they claim they don't have enough help to render all the pokemon in the game. Instead of having a pokemon game release every year like Call of Duty, they should focus more on the quality of it.
They're just being lazy about all this.
Yep, people can deny it all they want, but it's inevitable. Things change over time. We gotta get used to it and adapt just like we do with everything else.
Ok seriously everyone is suddenly retiring or stepping down. Something is going on here. Just too many are happening at once. It just seems too coincidental for this to suddenly be happening.
The fact that you don't need a playstation to play some of the games is pretty major. You can play God of War on PC, like holy shit. That's really big news.
Face it people, streaming is the future no matter what. In about 2-3 gen life cycles, we may no longer be having home consoles. It's going to be interesting to see what happens in the future.
Very interesting stuff. I am very excited to see what the gameplay is all about. I do hope there is online co-op as I always enjoy ed playing their games with friends.
I'm worried about how the GaaS model will be with that horrid progression system of loot.
