In previous Wipeouts, the tracks used to have 2/3 different courses, short, medium and long etc. (if my memory serves me correctly). Maybe it's the same here? It would def be worth downloading if that was the case.
They have that on the 360, but, it's up to developers to do it. My 10yr old nephew got Burnout Paradise and can't play it online because EA don't want "children" on their servers. When I got a week ban from Live I was using his profile for that week, and was very surprised to see this when I tried to get on the Paradise servers, but even more surprised when I could get online with his account no problems in Gears!!! I think Codemasters hit the nail on the head. As much as I love Forza and GT, the actual races are never that exciting. There's too much focus on tuning/upgrading, trying to win or buy every car in the game etc. And races are almost always unbalanced (you either laugh at everyone on the track, or you haven't a hope in hell). Have to admit I hated the d-pad on the 360 controller at fist, but I got used to it after a while, wellll, after more than a while. But now, after a year and a half of playing SF2 on both my pads, the d-pads are an absolute pain. It's nearly impossible to block, keep missing moves/combos and keep jumping when I dont want to. Infuriating!!!

ME1 already blew me away, and it's probably my choice for GOTY. I don't think the frame rate issue was bad enough to take from the overall enjoyment. Can't wait for ME2.
...yeah those elevators were a pain in the ass alright. But at least they put them to some use in the citadel with the news bulletins that some assignments were triggered from. But outside of the citadel, no use what so ever, I'd more than gladly take a 5 second loading screen instead. As for skipping dialogue, try hitting the 'X' button :)

Well, if they could make a DMC movie anywhere near as entertaining as the cutscenes from the game, I'm sold (well, action wise anyway) :) But, movies based on games just don't work, and I think everyone knows that.
