I cannot see Gears 2 releasing that early (as much as I'd like it to). In fact, I can't see Gears 2 releasing anytime before the end of this year (as much as I want it to). It's not like this is a Fifa game that just gets a few add ons every year. This is Epics baby and they're going to want to surpass everyones expectations, which will take time, instead of just throwing in a few upgrades etc. (well I hope that's the case anyway)
....can't wait for this either. There's been an awful lack of good games for a while and DMC is a great way to break that drought. It'll feel strange playing with a non-PlayStation controller in my hands though :-/
Gotta hate those tap throwing f*ckers alright. And if you kick someones ass badly they nearly always quit early and you have to wait for the synonymous "Establishing Connection" screen. I seem to spend more time looking at that f*cking black screen than actually playing!!! Longest 15 seconds ever!!!

.....Nope, didn't see that news about the end of the month :-P!!! I know R* are usually tight lipped, but have never been to this extent. Sheesh, I wish they'd just show some gameplay already, even the demo that was shown behind closed doors. It's the one game I am truly psyched for. Not much longer to wait now though, I suppose.
...but that would be less than 2 months away and still no gameplay vids or even in-game screens!?!?! Rockstar have never been this tight lipped before, what the hell are they up to? If this was true, surely they'd be showing some tv spots soon. I just hope to God they didn't pull a "Saints Row" on it. Saints Row was good and all, but it was just another GTA clone that failed to nail it. I hope R* haven't messed too much with the GTA formula.

Being a huge Star Wars fan and a pretty big SC fan, I really really dont know what to think of this. It just doesn't seem right for some reason. I'm having all sorts of problems on Live now. Game invites, private chat, sending messages, joining sessions, all very problematic. I haven't really had that many problems (except things seeming a little more laggy than usual) over the last couple of weeks, but tonight I couldn't play anything on Live because it would either just disconnect right before the game started or any of the games I eventually did get into were completely unplayable due to unbelievable lag. .....8.5/10 in my book. Never suffered any of the reported frame rate issues and out of around 20 hours of playing and exploring, I've only come across a bug ONCE!! It was a welcome change from shooting and hopefully it will persuade other developers to bring out original IP's.
....I really thought Creed would bomb after all the negative reviews it got. I'm delighted people went out and bought it. Ubi tried something new , and, very difficult to pull off, so respect has to be given. And it really didn't deserve to get such poor reviews. It 'aint perfect, but what game is?? Best Quality???? Well, er, I think I'd have to disagree with that. Twice I've sent my 360 away now. First time the motherboard went and I lost video. Second time, my 360 must've gotten confused and forgotten it was a 360 because every time I put a game in to play it I'd get a msg saying "to play this disc put it in an Xbox 360"!!!!! Hilarious, but at the same time infuriating!!
Have to hand it to them with Live though, it is really a great service and it is worth the money...
I'm still going to wait til I see more to pass judgement. I do think they need to make the characters faces look a little more kick ass though. Ryu looks like I'd take him to the cleaners myself, not the greatest fighter in the world :P

... Halo 3 is the most over-rated, mediocre game I have ever played. Give me Gears or CoD4 any day. I never had the original Xbox so I first played Halo 1 on the PC, and I'll have to say it's possibly up in my top 5 fave games of all time. Even if it was the same as the PSP MP (which I'm sure it probably will be along the same lines), I'd be happy enough with 8-16 players. Can-Not wait for this frickin game!!!
