@Playable:
Just to name a few,
2007 had:
Mario galaxy
Halo 3
Mass effect
Modern warfare
Bioshock
And 2008:
Gears 2
Fallout 3
Super smash Bros
GTA 4
MGS 4
I know you could argue that all these weren't exactly revolutionary games, but just shows the consoles had definitely hit their stride by that time and some absolutely massive games were landi...
Totally agree. This whole generation has been underwhelming so far. So many highly anticipated games failed to deliver, and (for me anyway) there's really only been a handful of games I'd give a triple A, 5 star stamp of approval. I was beginning to think it was just me and maybe my interest in video games waning, but it's not. There just hasn't really been a whole lot of ground breaking titles yet.
@BakPain: This is the 2tb I have in my ps4. Just crack it open and swap out your drive and you can put your old ps4 drive into the seagate case.

Gamestop (in Ireland anyway) are doing a pretty good trade offer. €145 for the pro trading in a 1tb.
How can you say it didn't bring anything new to the genre when it's far from finished and there's little detail actually known about the game??
I went for Yennefer, only after nailing Triss first of course, ha!!
Comment of the day right there 😂👍
Is it not because everyone complained about seeing the light bar reflection in their tv screen?? That would make more sense to move the light bar to where it is now.
Edit: Oh, I didn't know the original light bar was still there too!!
This is the worst book cover ever.
"As for August update, developers are working on penalizing rage quitters"
Seriously, why the hell has this taken so long?? This should've been the first thing they patched.
I'd still like to see 4 though. As long as they went back to its roots of course. If they made another dead space that was in keeping and true to the first game I'd be all over it.
I picked up the season pass a couple of weeks ago after I got that discount voucher email. Just finished hearts of stone last night and can't wait to get on the road to Toussaint now. I think I must be close to putting in 300 hours on this game now. It's ridiculous.
That day one patch reads like it's going to be bringing a tonne of improvements/changes. Bit unfair to be posting a review before it drops.
@Lennox: Yeah, but Manhunt had a more realistic setting. It's very different to bare handedly pulling a cyclops eye out of his face or chain sawing a grub. The executions in manhunt were pretty gruesome and very realistic. I'd love to see them make 3rd game but with the gfx and realism achievable today it would be a risky venture after the media circus of the first two games. As EazyC said too, even disregarding ISIS, all the crazy shit that's going on these days with random killi...
I really didn't like the idea of Rogue One at first, but after seeing the first trailer (and being a star wars nerd) I did get excited for it. Then after hearing they had to re-shoot nearly half the film because it was too dark has floored all my hopes and now I couldn't care less. And that Han Solo film, nah. I wish Disney would realise that the actual star wars fans are the adults, not 12 year old children.
@gapecanpie: I have to say I do rather offset sticks. I haven't used any X1 controller but on the 360 pad playing gears for example you could reach the d-pad to change weapons without taking your thumb off the left stick. I'd definitely consider getting a decent PS4 controller with offset sticks, but that one has no headphone jack (which I use a lot more than I thought I ever would), no light bar, no rumble or Bluetooth??
@Goldby: Yes, I've seen rigs and Eve and that's exactly why I don't think it's going to be the future of gaming. Even just for the point you made, it's like they're just using the headset as a replacement for the usual right stick aiming/camera movement. The closest thing we've seen to a full on proper shooter experience with PSVR is that heist game, which imo looks very mediocre. I just think there's going to be limited use to it. I think there's going to ...
I'm hyped as much as the next person for VR but I don't think it's going to be the natural progression for the future of gaming. In some situations it will be unmatched, for racing/flight games etc. but we still haven't seen any practical use in games like shooters. Just picking a couple of my games off the top of my head, how could VR work in games like TLOU or UC4??
I wonder how much I'd get for trading my day one 20gb 360. Ha!!! €5???
The last COD I bought was MW2. Funnily enough this is the only installment since then that caught my attention and I'm actually half considering getting. And now we have articles about it killing the franchise?
