Locking rage quitters out of matchmaking for a limited time is all well and good, but the non quitter still doesn't get awarded the win? I'm getting tired of higher ranked players quitting just before I beat them. This doesn't solve the issue at all.
What about Dorian in dragon age inquisition? I don't think anyone bat an eyelid at the fact he was gay.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't most of the Coalition team made up of the original Gears developers?
Just seeing that they went back to Gears roots has me sold anyway. Gameplay is very like 3 which is my favourite mp game of all time. This is exactly what I wanted from Gears 4. What was there wasn't broken (I'm looking at you Judgement), so why fix it? Just build on it, and that looks like what they're doing. Even seeing symmetrical maps put a smile on my face. It's a Gears game. It looks like gears and it plays like gears. I'm happy.
Sweet, thanks guys. Be nice to have a few games waiting for me to download. Sunset overdrive in particular.
Hey guys, quick question. I'll be picking up an X1 definitely before Gears 4 drops. I still have gold on my 360 so I've been going on the live website and clicking "download to Xbox One" on the free games with gold every month. Will those games be available when I do finally get an X1 and login with my account??
Slower paced gameplay? This is an Uncharted game. What are you on about? It's all about action.
Who the hell cares what way you abbreviate it? Why are people so anal about this kind of stuff?!!
@seanpitt23: Get it! You won't be disappointed. One of the best games this gen so far.
I was hoping for more tweaks to gameplay in the update. The more time I spend playing this, the less I like it. There's just so many cheap moves in the game. Just one example of many: you CANNOT successfully jump attack Necalli if he just keeps spamming LP. There's just so many cheap little tricks like that I wished they'd balance out.
I personally wouldn't like to see GTA move away from America for that reason. American culture is almost universal now thanks to US movies and tv shows. I presume America is also probably the biggest market for GTA so I think a lot of its humour would be lost on its biggest fan base if GTA was set somewhere else. The whole planet is well acquainted with America and its culture.
There's crime everywhere.
I didn't think the gameplay was all that bad. Shooting, cover and free running I thought were all very solid but driving was poor and hacking was poorly implemented. The story and boring repetitive side quests were what really let it down. Some side quests like the gang hideouts were really enjoyable but there wasn't enough of them and 90% of the rest of the side quests were filler. Overall I'd probably give it a 7.5, but here's hoping they can pull an AC2 and make the sequel ...
Ratchet and clank isn't really my thing but visually it's one of the slickest looking games I've ever seen.
Don't know why you're getting disagrees Lester. GT hasn't been on top in a long time. They need a complete overhaul of the series, and could learn quite a few tips from what Evolution did with driveclub. If you could pick all the best elements from both games and combine them it could make the greatest racer ever. Polyphony really need to up their game with GT 7. Ditch the duplicate cars, get sound design on par with driveclub, full damage model and the most important thing that G...
Or just open ps2 emulation on the ps4.
Great game! I remember just buying it when it came out without really knowing anything about it. It was brilliant.
Surprised to see manhunt up. Another great game. Didn't think I'd see that coming in a million years after all the controversy surrounding it. Still have my original ps2 copy.
@Darth: I was ranked 27th in the world in SFII hyper on xbox live and all using a regular 360 pad. And now playing SFV competently with a DS4. I can't use a fight stick for my life, so I for one am one of those people that uses a pad for fighting games.
I don't think it's going to be anything like the gimmick kinect is, but the jury is still out for me until I see it in practical use. For some situations I think it will be amazing, like racing games for example. GT with PSVR and a steering wheel is going to be absolutely mind boggling. But I'm still not sure how well it will work with other games like shooters for example. That heist game in the promotional video didn't impress me one bit.
My only worry is about the close quarters combat. Gears always had a problem with lag and if that affects cqc there's going to be some controller throwing moments.
