Upgraded to a 2tb drive last week and had to wave goodbye to it too. 👎
If I was making $6729 a month, I sure as shit wouldn't be driving a ford
"3rd party *shovelware* games were out everyday"
I'd say around 80% of the Wii install base were non gamers that just picked one up because they were cheap and looked like a bit of fun. With that many units sold 3rd party developers were just throwing out any kind of crap to try and cash in on less savvy consumers.
I agree with you to an extent EDMIX. After the first couple of hours after getting loose in Afghanistan I honestly thought it was going to be one of the best games of all time. But for me, it got old, very quickly after that. They made this amazing playground for you with all these great toys and gadgets to play with but it's like the developers didn't know what to do with them. You just end up extracting everything and anyone in the game and that's all you do!! I know you can arg...
@Hoffman: It's pretty bad that the only thing going for it is the online and they still haven't fixed the most glaring problem with it. I just played SFV for the first time in a long time and had about 20 matches tonight. Out of those 20 matches, 8 of them were with players that were on 15+ win streaks and yep, you guessed it, quit as soon as I was about to beat them and keep their win streak and points!! I can't believe they still haven't implemented penalties for rage quitte...
Sparta, the rubber on the sticks wasn't the only problem with the pads. They're just very badly made with cheap material. Besides the rubber peeling off on one and the r2 button popping out on my other one, both of them are practically falling apart.
I have to disagree with you though Majister. It's definitely the best PS controller design so far. And you must have hands like Shaq if you think they're too small!!
I'd do anything for a true sequel to the first Red Faction. One of my favorite ps2 games.
@Sparta: I have to say man, the DS4 is definitely the best Sony pad design wise, but build quality/materials is very poor. Both my day one pads are out of action. Rubber came completely off the sticks of one and the R2 button popped out of the other after a very gentle fall. Even the whole casings are loose on both. On my 3rd controller for the last couple of months and seems to be much better quality so I'll see how long this one lasts. Ergonomically they're fantastic, but I have PS2...
@Orbilator: I only buy digital if I know it's a game I'll want to hold onto forever or if it comes up as a really good deal on PSN. If it's something I know I'll probably just go through once or twice and never touch again I'll buy physical so I can trade it in. Just makes more sense.
Yes, there is that option but I never think of it, ha!! But when we're getting games that have day one patches that can be multiple GB it would be great even if they put them up for download for everybody 24hrs before instead of actually having to have the disc in the system to activate it. Especially when big games release and the servers are getting hammered and it takes twice as long to download as it normally would.
I always wished they would make day one patches available before games release. I know it'll never happen as they don't want people that got their mitts on them before street date to have the patch, but it really annoys me getting a new game, waiting for it to install, booting the game and THEN the download starts and you end up quitting back to dash to wait for download/install. I know it's not that big of an issue but annoys me sometimes. Folders would be welcomed too, and being...
If you didn't enjoy the combat in the beta then there's absolutely no point picking it up now. I got it as a Christmas present but traded after a couple of months. While I did enjoy it and thought the combat was actually ok, the game just didn't feel like the full package and I didn't have any desire to go back to it after a few weeks. Having vehicles/heroes and power weapons as random spawn pickups was my biggest problem with the game though. Visually and aurally the game is ...
It's like they couldn't be arsed figuring out the true translation and just named it after someone gave them a general run down of the plot. I love it.
I thought that at first too, but when you think about the way the first ended there's so many places they can take the story. The fireflies are going to be out for Joels blood and are going to try take Ellie with force, surely. What's going to happen when they meet back up with Tommy in the settlement with everyone there surely knowing by now what was going on?? What will happen when Ellie finds out Joel lied about everything that went on in the hospital?? So many possibilities left o...
That's just unbelievable. Even MS having to change their cloud service name from sky drive to one drive. How can they have complete rights over the use of an everyday word? And how the hell did it get to the stage where Hello Games had to have an outside settlement?? They should have told them to stick it where the sun don't shine. How any judge could rule in favour of Sky in that case is beyond me. If that's how it works these days, couldn't someone just go and copyright ever...
Business is business and everyone including Sony has thrown bucket loads of cash at someone at some point for timed or full exclusivity. Being a ps4 only player and a life long TR fan I'll gladly pick this up straight away in October. The game also got positive reviews so I don't know why anyone feels like passing on a great game just because of what some corporate big wigs decided on. I just think it's crazy that some peoples loyalty to a brand would make them believe they deserv...
I agree that bigger does not translate to better. WD did a lot of things wrong but did some good too. The story was terrible, driving was awful, none of the characters were likeable and there were too many boring side missions and nowhere near enough of the ones that were actually enjoyable. The combat and free running were pretty tight tho and I did enjoy moments of the game. I'm not really feeling the main character but I'm still going to keep my eye on this. I think Ubi get a lot o...
I'd love to see a sequel. This game was so awesome when it came out I was sure a sequel was going to come. Shame it never happened. I remember hooking up the audio to my hi-fi playing it. The sound in this game was amazing and still holds up well to this day.
It's just not Snake without Hayter. It was just so wrong not hearing his voice anytime Snake had dialogue. Speaking of which, what was the point in throwing all that cash at Sutherland when he barely said 2 words?? I'd be all over a MGS1 remake.
V was such a strange game. I think they nailed the gameplay but just didn't know what to do with it and then went and messed up everything else. They gave you all these cool toys but you never use any of them because yo...
I was going to backup the drive before upgrading and only realised after it was too late. I have a 120mb connection and just thought it would be less hassle to just download everything again leaving the ps4 on overnight. Unfortunately as I was going through my library to see what I wanted to download again I'd already started deleting/formatting the original ps4 drive for my laptop.......then I came across P.T. in the library 😐
