I don't think I could ever decide on what my favourite game of all time is, but GTA III would probably get it. It's solely down to greed and nothing got to do with development costs or time. Many studios/publishers turn a very nice profit releasing games without mt's, like CDPR with TW3. I'm pretty sure even SW:BFII has already covered production costs without mt's turned on and made some profit, but it's just not enough for the likes of EA and their only goal is to make as much money as possible.
If violent video games really were the problem, we'd have millions more of these kinds of massacres with the amount of people that play violent games. Not just in America either, but all over the world. That's not the case though.

I think out of all the violent games out there, GTA would probably be the worst, considering the play area of GTA mimics everyday life. There's been 80,000,000 copies of GTA V sold, yet we haven't had 80,000,000 cases of people losing their shit and mowing down people in cars or with guns for no reason at all since that game released. The Witcher 3 shifted more than 6 million copies and they made a very nice profit. If Disney did give them a game, I'm sure with their reputation together with the franchise name they could move nearly twice that amount and make a very nice turn over. Agreed though, it'll never happen. I don't trust Disney at all with Star Wars. Especially not after TLJ. It's quiet clear they couldn't care less what the fans want and just see it as a money making machine.
No chance of next generation being digital only. Even the generation after next I still think there's little to no chance of going digital only. Very much appreciated you got rid of the whack a mole pop up video ads, but now every 20 seconds I'm getting redirected to a "congratulations you've won an iPhone X/Samsung Galaxy S8/10 million fucking dollars" bullshit site, not just as a pop-up but straight from the page I'm on. My PS4 fan seems to always kick in when I'd least expect it to. Street fighter 5 for instance, no noise whatsoever when in menu, loading into a fight, during a fight but then on the results screen after a fight it starts going mental. And it's like this with other games too. Always found it bizarre. HZD, in a battle with 2 thunderjaws, a herd of tramplers and a sawtooth........ quiet as a mouse. Displaying the result screen in a mp match.......... Meltdown!!!
Can't see them releasing another game after RDR2 this far into the generation. As much as I'm hyped for RDR2, I'm pretty pissed off we probably won't be getting a GTA for a full gen.
