The first sealed door is like a 2 minute walk from their house and you're assuming they've never come across it before?? 🤷🏽♂️
I'm no fanboy and usually avoid any kind of communication with people like you, but seeing you spamming every GOW article is getting really tiresome.
"no jump button could make for some very unnecessary deaths"
Thanks for clarifying that you clearly haven't played the game. How on Earth could having no jump button result in unnecessary deaths?? Did you completely miss the tutorial on evading attacks? Or you just haven't bothered to p...
Pushed back to restructure the whole game's economy and progression system after the SW:BFII fiasco, more like.
The more I play of GOW, the more it's nudging TLOU off my top spot of favourite game of all time, and I really wasn't expecting that with this game. I just thought it would be more of the same old GOW with an over the shoulder view but boy was I wrong. The visuals, set pieces, combat, exploration, acting, story, artistic direction, even the humour which I really wasn't expecting, just everything about it.............. it's without doubt one of the greatest games ever made.
Same thing happened to me man. I got a notification from the YouTube app on my phone with a MAJOR spoiler in the title so there was no avoiding it. I'm seriously pissed off as I don't think I'm even halfway into the game. Turned that shit off, and know for future now to avoid YouTube like the plague when big games release.
If you're actually talking about the game from a technical standpoint, I haven't played anything else that comes even close to GOW in the ~20 hours I've put in so far. If there are any other games that do come close, I'd really really love your recommendation??!! This game is on another level to anything else I've played.
I'm so sorry I gave that a click. I wouldn't mind but he doesn't even mention the fact that Kratos' "luck" level can affect how much silver gained. Great "guide" dude 👍🏻
Agreed. Horizon and UC4 were probably tied for my favourite PS4 game but GOW has taken things to another level. Both of those games blew me away, but I've lost count of how many times my jaw hit the floor since I've started GOW. It's a masterpiece.
Stupid life commitments 😂 I couldn't put it down and it's now 5 in the morning and have to get up for work in a few hours. Played about 4 hours and I'm blown away. I've barely scratched the surface but I'm already getting masterpiece vibes off it. Can't wait to play more after what will inevitably be a very unproductive day in work.
About 4 hours in. All I can say so far is holy shit!! It is literally like playing a Hollywood Blockbuster film. Gameplay, design, artistic direction, acting, all absolutely incredible. Blown away and I've only scratched the surface. Only for I'm working in a couple of hours I could see myself sitting there for the next 12 hours. Can't wait to see what comes next. Stupid work!! ☹️
I don't think I've ever had a stranger experience with a game than I've had with FC2. The first few hours I was blown away and I thought it was one of the best games I'd played at the time, but after a while I absolutely hated it. Those damn checkpoints, the malaria, guns breaking far too soon and, probably the main reason why I began to hate it, just trying to get around that bloody map completely ruined it for me. A false sense of an open world that constantly forced you dow...
Just curious how long it took you to download?? I usually get full games downloaded in about 45 minutes but GOW took almost 8 hours. I wonder if it's because a lot of people pre-ordered digital. Either way, all set for midnight. Just 14 hours to go. Got a feeling this is going to be one long ass day.
I have no problem with them adding new fighters over time, but the grind to get FM to purchase them in game is just absolutely ridiculous. I've had the game since launch and out of the 13 dlc characters released so far I've unlocked just 5!!! I only play ranked which you get 50FM per match and characters are 100,000FM to unlock. It's absurd.
One of the negative points was text was too small. Get a bigger TV Kotaku, or get your ass down to specsavers.
Hype, curiosity and franchise appeal?? It's one of the most critically acclaimed games ever made, by both reviewers and consumers. It achieved it's success on it's own merit, not curiosity. Different strokes for different folks and all that, but get real.
This!! Why doesn't he just stick to what he's good at?? This is the first generation in about 20 years that I've stuck to just one console, that being the PS4. Gears is the one franchise I really miss not having on PlayStation. If Cliffy made a game like Gears for PS I'd be all over it.
I'll give it a go, but only if I can smash up a bus with thrash cans, chairs and guard rails.
I wish that was true, but it's not. They're getting more attention now than ever, unfortunately.
7/9
😂😂 😂😂
It's the greatest game I've ever played.
I don't like Kratos.
