but I guess good for the $$$. I bet Viva Pinata will sell lots of copies on DS. Seems like a good fit for a handheld.
It's just kind of strange to see Rare working with Nintendo again.
It is kind of wierd seeing Halo based in an Earth-like environment.
I wasn't in the beta. But I hope Bungie sped up the firing rate of the plasma rifle. In 2 it shot so slow and bc of that the accuracy was horrible.
Bc an editor adjusted the title of that article. And after I posted that my C-rank went down to 4....Most likely bc it is anti-Sony.
And I'll have to put you back on ignore Dirtsouf21. So you don't follow me around the threads again trying to slander me like you dedicated yourself to last time I called you out. If you do at least I won't have to read it.
@Lord Anubis......yes I have made many flaming types of remarks when I first joined this sight. But I ha...
The original title of the source article is: "Paramount Shifts Focus To Blu-ray" As to why the extra features are on Blu ray is unknown. Disk space is just a presumption.
I'm sure most of you all have been through the NG4 tutorials before you become a contributor. In the tutorial, the guideline (Step 3 of 3) clearly says: "The story title should always be the same as the headline of the story you link to."
Notice the keywords: *ALWAYS* be ...
I haven't seen a Funcoland in a long time.
I'd say it is pretty eveident the price drop is a reality. A 360 starting at $250 may even give the Wii a run for it's money.
Good idea for the Holiday season.
is doing great things for the Industry. The demographic of people who aren't gamers by far outweighs the people who are.
Microsoft, and Sony are most likely selling 360 and PS3 to consumers that were already gamers last gen. Is it coincidence that PS1 and 2 both sold about 100 million consoles?
By drasticly expanding the market Nintendo is making videogames a more mainstream form of entertainment. Which may rival motion pictures one day.
All t...
be worth some real money some day if they only made 100. Collectors pay up sometimes.
I remember a rare Olympics Game for NES going for over $10000 on EBAY.
It must be nice living in your little box. When there is this thing called reality going on all around you.
The Japanese 360 owners wanted Oblivion so bad that they actually signed an online petition to have it localized. Do you ever think before you speak?

Japan Wants Oblivion... In Japanese!
Whenever Japan gets some exclusive title, the rest of the world sits around waiting pa...
It took guts to do what they did. Totally change the control interface and it worked. Sony hasn't changed their controller in ten years and Microsoft just refined theirs.
Nintendo has been the king since the 80's. I'm sure while they are counting their millions, they could care less what some fanboy blogger has to say about what they are doing with their online service.
I'm sure both Micro and Sony would love to share in Nintendos success.
To call FeralPhoenix a fanboy only makes you look like an idiot. He is probably the most objective person on this website. I have never, and I repeat never seen him make a fanboy-like post.
Open mouth insert foot.
And it is pointless to bring up MGS4 in a Mass Effect thread.
really impressive water effects. Bioshock adds a lot to the FPS genre with elements of RPG and survival horror.
Definately an original and interesting game.
This war will take years to claim a victor.....might as well give up the speculation, at least for now.
the only reason you are saying that is bc the 360 core lacks a hard drive. To bash the 360. It's pretty obvious.
And PC developers know that every PC has a hard drive. That is why it is used in every game.
You can code games to detect the presence of a HDD. So the game will use HDD for streaming if it is present. And if HDD is not present it won't. So this whole no hard drive issue is null and void. All 360 games that developers choose to use the hard driv...
your argument is dead on arrival.
Sony put Blu ray in PS3 to win the format war. That is it.
You can't future proof technology.
The PC has the most advanced games on the market. Yet they don't require Blu ray as the standard.
I guess PC gaming will die without Blu ray. Doesn't that sound pretty stupid. Yeah I thought so...
"I dont want to encourage HDDVD at all. I want it to die quick simply because I think we should only have ONE format no two."
Its kind of funny that you should say that Bathyj. Bc I agree that one format is better for consumers.
Isn't it kind of funny how HDDVD was on the market a year before Blu ray was released?
I guess we should blame Sony for their being two formats and this whole format war. Which in the end consumers end up suffer...
I think at $250 the 360 is an excellent deal. I think it could give Wii purchasers a lot to think about.
With Halo 3 on the horizon I think this will be a great Holiday season for 360.
Pricepoint can make or break a console. Just compare Wii sales to PS3 sales.
You are correct the title should always be the same. But this website has become N4SG. News for Sony Gamers.
Twisting the title like that is a blow to the 360. Which is good for this web site. Guidlines don't apply to Sony fanboys. Very much in the same way that just about every anti- Sony article gets over 20 reports of being spam and lame by the Sony brigade. And is immediately pulled.
No biggie as I do like this website. But it is true look at the repor...
when it is a new product that has just come out. And makes up a very small percentage of the market? Both Blu ray and HDDVD make up less than 5% of DVD sales.
If anything both can fail.
I guess that by this philosophy PS3 and 360 must be dead too. BC PS2 makes up more market share than both combined.
Give it a rest.
Don't I have to pay $500 for PS3
Getting something for free means you spend $0.00
I bet Halo 3 will be the number 1 console game for sales this Holiday season just based on all the preorders.
The only other game that might take the crown is GTA4 IMO. With it being multiplatform.
