I had both versions side by side and to be honest, I thought that the PS3 version was indeed a step above the 360 version.
Both in visuals and gameplay (I prefer the DS3 though). The PS3's colors definitely pop. The only difference is if you had saved the files from the first game on 360.
It's part of the DLC when you download the code from the voucher that was included in the game.
The comic takes place after the first opening scene.
Yes, Yes and more YES.
You're either into the story/atmosphere from the beginning and hooked, or you're not. Simple as that really. Hopefully the interactive comic will be interesting enough for PS3 owners. But there is a lot of action to be had apart from the RPG segments.
The only real problem with this game for me was the planet scanning for elements/universe exploration. If you have any bit of a short attention span, this can really slow things down and pull you out of the experienc...
Better hope so. If I remember correctly the PC version of DS1 was broken, or at least sub-par to its console counterparts.
If the demo is representative of the final product I'm keeping the 360 version.
Actually my K/D ratio was decent for a 1st time player (about 1/1) and I did stay close to my squad as I was warned by the GS employee that runnin' and gunnin' wasn't MAG's MO.
Also, I never got rid of Black Ops. Only bought MAG and yes, I will say that $30 for MAG is too high.
Shitty graphics, slower frame rate (with a good connection speed) and just overall a rather bland experience.
Well, I was getting very irritated with the lag & host migrations so I went to Gamestop yesterday and picked up MAG for $30. 5 games in and that was a totally inferior experience for me.
Went back to Black Ops. BFBC2 was good, but I still prefer Black Ops for some reason. I knew there was no way I would be buying the PS3 version of COD though. It's just a sad fact, but COD is the 360's love child.
Also, on the 360 version I don't have an...
We shall see about KZ3... supposedly they've added new environments and a better color palette.
Uncharted is a perfect example of what I am talking about. Yes it's the same characters, universe etc... but they completely change up the environments and situations so that each game has it's own unique look and feel.
Dead Space 1 & 2 appears to be the same as Bioshock 1 & 2. Look at what the original Bioshock devs are doing now with "In...
Yes. Copy and paste sequels are lazy. It's been a problem this entire generation.
Devs are too quick to cash in on a name rather than actually trying to dethrone the original IP.
Red Dead was good. It could have been great if R* were able to iron out the same problems that plagued GTAIV though. And they didn't. Repetitive missions and wonky controls got the better of this one.
PS3: God of War 3
360: Mass Effect 2
Deleted it.
DS1 Rocked. DS1.5 looks to be more of the same.

It never ceases to humor me how much gaming "journalism" suffers from the domino effect. The copycat procedure of article releases is terrible lol....
New scenery and or visuals (kind of like what Uncharted spoils us with)
Not a copy and past of textures from the Ishumura. I thoroughly enjoyed Dead Space, but I do not want more of same from a sequel. I expect more than a retreading.
*EDIT* Actually, a good example (again just basing off of a demo) would be Bioshock. That sequel was more of the same sh*t. The original devs were right to move forward with Infinity.
I know it's not always wise to form an early opinion of something based off of just a demo or sample, but I actually deleted this thing after playing 5 minutes of it.
In almost every conceivable way, this was Dead Space 1. I simply cannot stand it when developers are afraid to expand their horizons because of the success of their 1st title. I need more proof that there are at least some differences here....
wtf?
Will be all over this like white on rice. Or black on tar... whichever you prefer.
So numerous other sites namely IGN, 1UP, Gamepro etc... basically state that PS3 owners are in for a treat with their upcoming version of ME2, yet these Lens of Truth retards seem to get everyone up in arms with yet another shitty comparison.
No biggie, I know which version I'm keeping. It comes on 1 disc and includes a butt load of content.
Lol.
