That so totally sounds like a rumor. But an 80 year old grandmother down the street said she heard it from her 5 year old grandson and she says he knows about video games, he is a master of Goat Simulator.

These pipsqueak "game journalists" need to stop trying to capitalize on this lead up to E3.

There is a huge part of the real Francis Drake story that hasn't been told. It was touched on with the side trip to Tibet. However, it wasn't pointed out that Drake plundered up the north America west coast, had too much treasure to take back and legend says he left in the northwest before he duplicated Magellan's voyage across the Pacific and back to England. Also, if people remember Uncharted, it was a mystery why Drake's lead coffin would be found off the coast of Panama (a...

Activision recently announced selling 20 million copies of Call of Duty: Ghosts. That is all platforms but at $50 per copy, that is $1 Billion.

As for movies, there has never been one yet that cost $500 million, even with marketing. There have been quite a few $200+ million that have been huge failures like Lone Ranger.

Activision can expect at least another billion for CoD:AW. It's getting to be a strange world where video games sell tens of millions of...

Kinext 2 is a total failure. Everybody that was supporting it is gone from MS. Notice that nobody left has made one peep about Kinect2, even Spencer. It is LOL to see so many MS smug faces just keeping their lips pursed together to not say one thing about Kinect2. If there has been any gesture controlled title, it isn't being advertised. Even Titanflail failed to use Kinect2. Rare was supposed to have become essentially a Kinect2 dev, and all you can hear in that direction is crickets chi...

Well, we are assuming it is an older Ellie in TLOU2. Fact is TLOU didn't really end, Joel and Ellie don't have any choice but be on the road again. So it could be TLOU2 is Joel finding some safe place, then leaving the picture for what ever reason, and Ellie meets another guy. His name is Nathan Drake and he had survived through the infection because he had been exploring the Peruvian jungles and got trapped in a subterranean Inca temple of gold. It could happen.

Really dig the exo spine. It's going to turn out all of these early "leaks" are PC and they haven't shown any real gameplay yet. It does make the mind boggle that Activision is reporting 20 million copies of Call of Duty: Ghosts has sold so far. It looks like MW might be even bigger, for Activisioni anyway and that is all Kotick cares about.

Their capture of Spacey is really good and there is a story there about a near future dictator satirized in a House of Cards style. The timing is going to be in favor of this game unless The Division lives up to early impressions. First CoD in awhile, appearing to be a really good game. If they can break the static world mode that CoD is in, have more physics and destruction, then this could be quite a game.

Let us not forget that there is still this unidentified connector next to the standard earplug jack. The voice command is really responsive, just say the command clearly. Sony are gradually rolling things out.

So, it's confirmed the "resolution parity" clause comes from Microsoft. Remember this as another thing MS brought to video gaming.

The actual gameplay graphics are kind of washed out and the NPC character animation is more last gen but this trailer shows some fun gameplay. The knife throwing looks functional, the silencer isn't totally useless, and there are real lockpicks. Cool that it has two paths, although it isn't clear if there is some general alarm that gets set off. Also, the amount of damage the player is taking in Mayhem is too over the top, but that might have been on easy. The game didn't look tha...

Uhhh, actually, Sony has used the period right after E3 to drop prices. Sony was taking virtually no loss from the hardware this time, right from launch. It's been several months and component prices do tend to drop. GDDR5 expensive 6 months ago, standard VRAM now. It's more likely they will do a $20 drop than a $50 drop, or they could be cute and drop the price to $360. The one-two punch of E3 followed by a price drop not long after, for the upper cut, launch Morpheus in the fall for...

Everybody keeps asking what XBO is going to do next. MS has already said what they are going to do with the XBO, at their 2013 introduction. It's no doubt, this is another deviant Microsoft plan for world domination, and solves the problem of excess production. XBO is another monopoly in the making for Microsoft and they will dominate this market:

Probably a spin-off later this year. If its doing so well, it can do well on its own as a separate company, no need for Microsoft core software products to subsidize anymore. The new CEO is starting to steer the ship in his direction. He has already stated that Windows 8 will not be supported in a few months (meaning mandatory upgrade to 8.1), just as MS confirms the core OS of the XBO is Windows 8 kernel. For him, the core business has much more priority than the entertainment devices sectio...

The power of the cloud will make XBO at least 3 times more powerful and will increase sales by 3 times. Three times three is ninety-eleven, there is no arguing with the powerz of the cloudz. Just you wait and see, just your wait ... and wait... and wait ..., dang this load time is worse than the lag.

Microsoft May Slow Down or Stop Xbox One Production Due to Excess Supply

One thing MS isn't mentioning is that the XBO sales rate has slowed down lower than the 360 over the equivalent time period. Slowing down or stopping a console in pr...

Look at those charts closely. The only line that applies to the Xbox division, which is XBO and 360, labeled Devices and Consumer Hardware. Also, revenue is essentially gross, so gross margin is essentially net.

Then look at the data for the comparable time period in 2013, the first quarter and the 9 months prior to the first quarter, compared to 2014. That division has dropped considerably over the same time in 2013:

The Spiderman 2 fiasco was good for extracting exactly what goes on with game contracts between devs and publishers. It was revealed in that contract, which presumably had to be agreed to by both parties, was the inclusion of a "resolution parity" clause. This term, "resolution parity" also seems to be a requirement to only say "they look pretty much the same".

Yeah, and Kelly Osbourne:

I love it. Sony is beta testing a working game streaming system on 5mbps connections, this site goes ho-hum. MS says "you just wait, just wait, you will see" about their dream cloud and the xbox fanbois go out of their minds.

Is this like the secret second GPU or stacked GPU that was going to double the XBO performance?

The delusional devotion that xbox fanbois have will be a future psychology study. If we took all the things they have been hurling for the past six months, the XBO would appear to be about 6 to 10 times more powerful than the PS4. And yet, all the devs are struggling to keep XBO games above 720p.

After all this time, people should know these graphics API improvemen...
