Agree, so why are there so many of these "videogame journalists" that are bemoaning the decline of the video game console? As the PS4 gets more games crossing more interest spans, there will be more PS4 adopters. The PS2 reached a lofty goal and it really brought videogame consoles to the mainstream.
This is a big deal because history is being made. The PS4 is the fastest selling video game console in history, 3 times faster than the Wii at this rate. Isn't this a case of videogame "journalism" that didn't understand they were seeing a PS4 recorded game turned into a video and displayed as a movie? The videogame journalist should have clarified they were shown a non-interactive demo, which would have made it simple to understand it was PS4 recorded gameplay using the PC as a movie player. Doing that is understandable at something like Pax.

MS was hyping TF to huge heights in hopes of making it a big system seller of XBO. This was going on all February, so you see the hype effect of TF. The problem for MS is their now really old, tired practice of hype becoming viral equals increased sales has lost its mojo. It happened with Ryse, then as soon as Ryse comes out -- silence. The xbox fanbois are butthurt over the actual graphics downgrades for Ryse and Titanfail, so they have to do their usual crybaby turnaround on the next big PS4 title. Sony is selling as many PS4 as they can make and they are making about 1.4 million per month. Now they are distributing to all launch countries, they will hit 7 million by the end of the fiscal year Mar. 31.

The PS4 is going to do just fine if the XBO vaporizes, which it essentially already has in Japan. All the devs will develop for the PS4. There are going to be hundreds of games, some huge MMO for those can find the time for those. The PS4 dynasty will be a benevolent and generous era.
The problem with these maps is they look small and confined. This isn't an open world game. This seems strange for a mech game where size and space are more fitting, not confined, cramped urban settings. The other thing is a fog effect is being over used. Anybody else notice there was huge hype for multiple Kinect2 games and apps before the Feb. 2013 Sony PS4 reveal, and since then, MS has not presented a single major Kinect2 game for the XBO? The shame and embarrassment from the XBO reveal carried over into E3 2013, then to TGS, to launch, barely any mention of anything Kinect2 except the repeated statement it was essential to the XBO. It's almost like a two-headed cyclops and one head has died.
