This is why we simply shouldn't try to make consoles into PCs. Console buyers just aren't willing to pay for performance.
Could they have made it any more geared toward little kids. This doesn't help their image and is going to scare off some gamers.
What I want to know is did this guy ask Nintendo's permission first. If he did, and they said no, then that's his problem he wasted the years when he could have made his own game. If he didn't ask, then that's his problem he wasted the years when he could have made his own game. Similar to not asking your parents for permissions for something because you know they would say no. And for everyone here that keeps referring to other companies that allowed this. those companie...
We haven't heard any grumblings or rumors about a major press event coming up, so it would have to be a direct. You would have to give people time to plan, book a venue, etc. They traditionally tack on to events because everyone is already there. Obviously not the Gamestop or TGS, since this is upon us now. Make no mistake, the media will be there in force, regardless of venue, and a well produced direct reaches just as many people, if not more.
Article about reveal of the system and you are citing poorly constructed rumors as your reason for not buying it. You weren't going to anyway. What's the point?
Does anyone know the actual competitive landscape between PC and consoles. PC should be broken down into at least 3 categories, less powerful than average console, roughly equivalent to console, and significantly superior to average console. How many people own PCs with significant graphical power, and how many of those are for gaming, How big is the market, really, is it growing or retreating. Does anyone know the facts?
If load times don't bother you, then get this game...if they do, then just be patient and get this game.
This was the first game in years that I wanted to 100%.
Don't want to overuse it, but yes, I agree. Similar to Kirby's epic yarn and Yoshi's Wooly world had similar styles. Nintendo is great at this. Claymation style for Kirby and the rainbow curse was also great. Paper mario in Smash could have been interesting, and maybe taking out Dr. Mario.
This was my first pikmin game as well. loved every minute of it.

Console generations are determined by the manufacturer of each console. Innovation in both power and features drives console generations. Every console generations increases power, that is fact. innovation can come from signficant hardware improvements or features such as controller enhancements, When the games being released are not playable on previous gen hardware, a console generation advances. 9th generation for Nintendo is come in March. According to...
Dallas fort worth could be great too. No coastline, but plenty of lakes and the series needs a change. Wide open area with multiple cities that are very close. Dual airports
You hit the home button and activate the browser. Look up anything you want like game walkthroughs or YouTube. Press home again and go right back to your game. Its that easy.
nintendo made more games than any developer this gen. what is wrong with diversification and gaining audience?
there is no reason mobile can't coexist with consoles. game looks fun.
Metroid Prime Federation Force. Good game, completely the wrong time.
Agreed. And sites like digital foundry that compare everything and nitpick every little detail. like to focus on performance and people blindly trust the results. slightly lower perforance doesn't game any less fun.
I wonder if we will ever see something sign a two year agreement to xbox live at a higher rate and get a console for $1 or $100. I hope not, but I could see it happening.
That's the dumbest thing I've heard all week. If they wanted a PC, they would be talkikng about a PC. They are talking about a gaming console and a TV. not the same thing.
4k with no compromises will not likely occur this or the next generation. Devs keep putting more detail into the visuals that consistent 1080p 60fps will still be a challenge. It took how many generations to get past 480p?, and in two we are trying to get to 4k. We need to slow down and focus on the games again.
