This is good news. Though I would have bought even a downgraded version of Fallout 4 on my Wii U. Gamepad was tailor made for the pip boy.
I hope they keep the stick placement in the future.
This i agree with. I think if power of the console was equal to competition and the gamepad having its own graphical power would have been different.
I use the gamepad almost exclusively. I rarely use the pro controller. I like the size and offscreen play is well utilized.

Right. If nintendo allowed this, it sets a precedent that it could no longer control the direction of their own franchise. First a remake, then a sequel. This person that made the game didnt make any money. This is irrelevant. It affects nintendo whether people believe it or not.

Totally agree, I still go there weekly for the free points in hopes that something changes, but I already own most of the games. 15% discounts mean nothing to me. I hope they use this in the future as well, as nothing has really changed of significance since it began.

Not just gaming. Other products have the same issues. Cell phones, cars, movies. I think anonymity is the problem. People are quick to be disrespectful when their real name isn't involved.
That would be horrible for the industry. We need new ideas and a willingness to take hardware chances. Who else is going to do this if not nintendo? Before downvoting, please answer the question.
Blame it on the esrb... I am glad exists. People should know what they are buying. Every locale has their own rules for acceptability for all media. Deal with it. Publishers have to make decisions based on rules and we have no idea the pressure they face. Lay off hand enjoy the game.
When comparing two $60 games, perhaps we should consider one too cheap and one priced right. Also, breaking cost down per hour is way cheaper going to the movies . gaming is as cheap or expensivd as you wqnt it to be.
I see this all the time that people skipped the Wii. No wonder you all can't understand the value of the Wii U. You missed out on everything that led up to what we have now. You missed out on a ton of great games.
like everything else, we won't know until the actual reveal. I suspect that it will, but only with digital downloads. I'll just have to keep my Wii U under the TV for playing old games. I'm OK with that. I think it mostly depends on if an optical drive is included or not. No one seemed to care about backwards compatibility out of the box, but everyone will surely cry without it on the next system. Makes it kind of hard for Nintendo to figure out what people want, doesn't...
Or at the very least with controls more akin to splatoon with motion assisted aiming. I absolutely can't stand simple right stick aiming after those excellent controls. Sadly, I don't see them supporting the wii mote if they are indeed trying to distance themselves from the wii name.
According to their logic, the pro controller is also not traditional. It has the exact same buttons as the gamepad, which is apparently too irregular to count.

No company is going to allow someone else to reveal their product or have their hands forced to reveal before they are ready.
they are probably confident in their product, but are just being super careful they have a well received reveal and launch lineup. If they claim to have learned from their past mistakes, they certainly don't want to risk messing it up again. Here's to hoping that they can put out something that 3rd parties will develop for and can sell more consumers on their system.
