Vince is not turning over an IP to anybody, that's one of the things he fought Activision for in the first place in the IW spat. EA is just paying bills. They bankrolled Respawn after the IW lawsuit. I'm sure he wasn't all that happy about the MS deal, but it cost EA a lot of money to start a new studio without any immediate promise of return. It’s just business.

I've owned the original Xbox with the fat controller, which I then hacked (Xboxscene.com anybody?) and put hundreds of NES and SNES games on. Then it died.

Persona 4 Golden is reason enough to own one. There's no touch or gyro controls. It's just a great game. I carry an ipad for reading and email when I'm traveling but I spend most of my downtime on Persona 4 Golden. 120 hours and three playthroughs in the quest for the Platinum.

Microsoft pretty much denied RROD for years. Sony has never had the best quality track record and Nintendo will sell you yesterday's technology today.
I don't think either of them are that great. I think the Xmedia bar was great because it was really simple and functional on the PS3. I picked up my 360 four years ago to see what the big fuss was about with their dashboard and even today after like a half dozen total redesigns I have the same reaction: A cluttered series of advertisements hiding entry to the content you actually own.

Spawn camping has been in every single CoD multiplayer game ever made, people just have very poor memories. In some fairness spawn camping is basically the objective in some Battlefield 3 modes. You just push a team back far enough like in the Metro subway and fire away until the music comes up and flash, you win!
If it hasn't been obvious by the last two years, MS found out that Blu-Ray sold PS3s and Kinect sold 360s just like bowling sold Wiis. They figured, "Hey lets sell them movies and more Kinect, let's throw in a DirecTV remote for "Free" and call it a day.

Played through twice for the trophies. It's a stunner in most places. Only that sky diving section near the end is rubbish. Controls for that one are pretty awful. Enjoyed the rest.
