Wait.
So it's not historically accurate that battlefields had commanders giving orders?
Like it could have been done via carrier pigeons or some bullshit. There are ways to make it work, DICE just didn't want to bother. Which is fine. But stop saying it's okay to break historical accuracy SOME times but not others.
Anyone who has a brain would find it hard to argue against this.
You could argue "stay away from close quarters areas", well two problems there, one most maps are designed with a heavy focus on close quarters these days, and two with most multiplayer FPS games featuring some kind of enhanced movement mechanic, even if people did stay in wide open areas there is no guarantee that a shotgun user can't easily close that gap.
Destiny is perhaps ...
I won't bother partaking in this argument because of the sheer amount of butt hurt involved, but to even try and suggest that Shotguns require any amount of skill is absolutely hilarious.
People who tend to use this argument, that a certain weapon takes great amounts of skill to use, usually means they crutch that weapon themselves. And you sound like a typical crutch shotgun kind of guy.
It doesn't matter if they believe in it. I will never play it regardless of how good it looks. Because I'll never purchase an Xbox console.
I really wish Platinum Games would stop making console exclusive games. They make amazing titles and it's just a real damn shame that they keep them exclusive so that only a portion of gamers can play them.
There is particular demographic that purchases Xbox consoles, and history has shown that Xbox owner...
Neither were any of the Gears of War games. Far out I hate CliffyB. I honestly do. He is such a worthless developer.
It's hypocritical for the gaming community to say that multiplayer only isn't worth $60, then say having a single player makes it worth it, because games like CoD and Battlefield have crappy SP campaigns that hardly anyone plays. Also, most single player campaigns only last for half a dozen hours. Soooooooooo you're saying, playing a SP for 6-10 hours, has MORE value than playing MP for 50-100 hours?
Value is entirely subjective, just like 99% of video game revi...
This guy knows what's up. The industry always gets so hyped about these new gimmicks, but none of them have ever crept in to the mainstream. I personally believe VR will always remain a hard core or business product, it will never hit mainstream, but if it ever did, it will be the PSVR that does it.
They definitely didn't make it work with teh Kinect.....
Wasn't the beta only multi-player?
So in other words, is in no way an indication of what the single player will be.
Doom was always a single player game. So you CANNOT say that this game is not for doom fans, if you haven't even played the single player, which looks great.
Many many MANY games over the years have had stellar single players, but crap multi-players and vice versa.
The core gameplay mechanics are, you shoot your guns at other people and bad guys.
That's it.
Everything else can be changed.
Review are not objective. They never have been and never will be.
A review is one persons individual opinion on a game.
If reviews were objective, then everyone would give it the same score no? Removing the need for them at all. Reviews are entirely subjective, and they need to be.
People really need to start learning this. Hardly anyone in this world is objective about anything, as everyone sees everything through their own eyes.
Good guy Sony.
I highly disagree.
the Dark Zone seems to be highly subjective. One player never gets PK'd, another player gets it every single time they enter.
HAHA.
The Division is so awesome that people can get burnt out and need a break after one week.
Destiny took about 6 months of heavy playing every single day for me to even begin to get burnt out, and it took another 3 months for me to decide to take a break.
I thought this was going to be an article about how gamers just seem to be such horrible people lately. But instead it's about how horrible game developers are.
Typical modern gamer talk.
Uggghhh. The UN can't actually do anything. All they can do is write some paper suggesting it. It is up to the country if they want to sign the agreement.
The UN doesn't actually have ANY actual power. They can't enforce laws or change them.
Actually I'd say having ANY kind of beta would be a mistake.
The previous beta did nothing but set expectations unreasonably high.
Is there anyone on this website that isn't a total sociopathic cynical pessimist, and can actually keep their mouths shut long enough for people to enjoy something
No?
Didn't think so.
This is why I hate the gaming community.
If you defend one game, you're a fanboy, if you put shit on another game, you're a hater.
But if you follow the community trends, then you are a prophet.
So Destiny hating is the only thing that is cool to do, and hating on anything else just makes you a Destiny fanboy.
I agree with the points made in the article, but in general, The Division won't be the next Destiny beca...
Why would it have signed its "death warrant". That's one of the DUMBEST things I've ever seen a game blogging website say. Remastering one of the most popular RPG's ever made. Can't see how they could possibly lose. It's a win win for them.
