Actually, Sony pays Marvel to allow them to make each Spiderman movie, Sony doesn't own Spiderman at all, they just lease him.
Also in the news: Rachet and Clank going to 360 wasn't even a rumour until we wrote this 'article' stating that Sony owned ip won't be going to the 360.
Stay tuned next week to read our main feature: Rumour dispelled, Mario, Zelda and Metroid games not going to the 360 either!
Who wrote this 'article'? lol

Actually, I don't own a Wii and it's not my favourite console at all but I am not so arrogant, as many are on this site, to say it isn't a competitor. It is. I have tried all the titles I mentioned and they are a lot of fun and it does have many games that directly compete with the hardcore games on ps3 and 360 and they play just as well, they just don't look as pretty which has very little to do with gameplay anyway. I know more people that own a wii than I know that...
Hey, you aren't allowed to like Uncharted AND Zelda!
It's proposterous to like Gears of War AND Super Mario Galaxy!
People who play Gran Turismo or Forza simply can't enjoy Mariokart!
If you like Killzone then it's your responsibility as a gamer to hate Metroid!
Obviously, high def graphics makes EVERY game FUN! and SD graphics makes games monotonous and boring. /sarcasm
This is the worst excuse for an 'article' that I've ever read. It's the lowest ...
A fool and his money...
Edit: Simply not worth the effort.
Don't get me wrong, I think GT5 is looking fantastic and it's a day one purchase for me and I imagine it's better than the shot I linked. That is the only shot I could find that was clearly actual gameplay which is why I used it and honestly, I think the end product will look better than that but the point is, I believe that photo and I absolutely do not believe these photos. I don't believe these shots are in game or replay and because of things like blur effects etc I don't even believe t...
This is an in game screenshot. It looks fantastic. It looks like a game that was actually made this generation. Notice that it is from an angle that you could actually use to drive the car. Notice that jaggies actually exist. Notice the heads up display. Notice the draw distance isn't infinite. Notice that there are 'flaws' which you would expect from an actual game. Notice that this looks lika a playable game.
errr... no.
Squaretrade, a company that sells console warranties reports that 10.0% of ps3's malfunction during the first two years of ownership. You also have to assume that it's actually higher than that since many people will go directly to the manufacturer during the manufacturer's warranty period which also explains why they reported 360 malfunctions at 23.7% when it is widely believed to actually be higher. The only console that falls in line with the rest of the consumer elect...
I understand exactly how things work. I know that the average failure rate for consumer electronics is about 2.5% but a 0.5% failure rate for a firmware update is completely inappropriate. Could you imagine the state of things if 0.5% was the failure rate for each and every firmware update? There's been dozens of updates, the ps3 would be less reliable than the 360 for crying out loud! Do you think that would be acceptable?
I also don't know where you are plucking the 0.5%...
I don't know where people are getting 100 out of 10,000 or 50 out of 100,000 but obviously, any number being assigned to this is completely made up. Even using the conservative 50 out of 100,000, even at that low number it's still over 12,000 poeple assuming a 25M install base. I don't think it's reasonable at all that 12,000 people be out of a console bacause Sony dodn't test their update thoroughly enough. My ps3 didn't have any issues but if it did brick after an update I wouldn't give ...
Bluray is already mainstream...
My comment is specifically concerning reviews and how they change through time since many are commenting on this. At the beginning of a console generation, I think that reviewer's scores are artificially high since they only have games from the previous generation to compare to. Better graphics and new features wow the reviewers and they give out high scores easily but as the generation marches on even multiplats start pumping out graphics that blow away exclusives released at launch and feat...
Edit: commented in wrong spot
Sales do have a relationship with quality however. The quality of a game is directly related to the development budget. If the budget is small then that will impact the amount of money available for every facet of game development from talent to art assets to quality control and even marketing. If a game is expected to sell well or it is a sequel in a high selling franchise then it will get more money allocated and ultimately be a higher quality title. If the title is in a niche genre or ...
What game is better/best is all in the eye of the beholder. I would say that both KZ2 and ODST have gotten good reviews, good sales and have strong fanbases which makes them both great games. It really doesn't matter after that. If your favourite genre is first person shooter then both of these titles are must plays and you should be ecstatic to have variation and choice in titles and gameplay instead of wasting time arguing about which game is 'the best'.
Developers that love playing great games also make great games... weird! lol
It's probably your TV. The television needs to have an analogue tuner that is capable of accepting an analogue 1080p signal. An analogue tuner capable of accepting 1080p adds cost to the TV and only a smaller percentage of people use it anymore so it is becoming a rare feature.
This is Insomniac reminding Sony that they have options. Second party devs get a lot of funding, technical support, marketing etc from companies like Sony and Insomniac has been with Sony for so long they probably have to remind them every now and again that nothing is stopping them from leaving so keep the support coming... or else.
