everyone reporting this story should have their reporting privelages taken away. What is the point of acting like a toddler?

And you are right Sony's PR statement was approved with 'no reports.' These people are reporting based on their bizarre attachment to the PS3. They are nothing but a hindrance to N4G for the contributors who are actually try to 'post' the news.

And for anybody who doubts that this is censorship, here is the indesputable evidence.

the first Fable was only OK, I would say good but not great. That probably has to do with the producers talking it up so much. But the screens and videos for the second one look way better(only makes sense).

Hopefully with Microsoft behind Lionhead they can make this game really spectacular. The online co-op definately sounds really good. It's kind of funny because I really wasn't expecting much from Fable 2 to be honest, but now it is one of my most anticipated titles for 2008...

I have always been an AMD/ATI fan. They make some really great gaming rigs.

I'm sure they will come out with something interesting.

Just buy the version you want before Shadow Heart/sammy_mantra/Nasim/TANOD /Larry007/Tidus007/Marry Ellis/RIPHDDVD/Shmee goes postal. He is not only SPAMMING up the reports section, he is also SPAMMING up threads with a mile high wall of text and links.

looking forward to this game. I think overall Microsoft has done a greeat job of delivering so many RPGs for the 360, and this one looks pretty good.

If anyone is interested I posted this preview from OXM yesterday, but I think not many visitors to N4G saw it.

it was a really good article also. I am trying to post articles like this a lot. Unfortunately, most read news on N4G is just issues about console superiority and/or flamewar.:(

Anyways, I am very interested in game engines, especially the Cryengine. I just bought a new PC and can finally play Crysis. The engine in the game blew me away. I think it is a lot better than UE3. Unfortunately, most developers don't seem to want to license it. Or possibly it is just really expensive....

because it will be upscaled anyways. It was the same with Halo 3 and most other games. These consoles don't have enough video ram to run high resolutions at good framerates, Especially with big open worlds. If they had a gig or more ram it would be different.

If it is true that the PS3 version runs at a lower resolution it was most likely because Rockstar was having problems achieving a smooth framerate on the PS3 version.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to fi...

it was a very good article. When I was a kid arcades were booming. I live in the United States. It is kind of sad because I remember playing Street Fighter 2, Mortal Kombat 2, and Killer Instinct for hours. Fighting games were really competitive back then.

Now arcades in the U.S are almost extinct where I live. I read even before this article though that they are still pretty big in Japan.

I think the introduction of online gaming has pretty much negated the nec...

that Microsoft limits the download size of games because some people lack a hard drive. I think that the old download size limit used to be 50mb, but they increased it when Symphony of the Night was released. Also at the same time a larger memory card was released.

It really doesn't make sense bc they could have much bigger games on XBLA. If the Core users wanted to purchase them just buy the hard drive.

That isn't true. IGN AU is always listing for both PS3 and Xbox 360. Here is PS3 review. They are identical. That is why I am posting 1 review in both 360/PS3 channels.

all of the Metroid Prime games were great. It is one of the few franchises that really made a great transition form 2D to 3D. The people over at Retro Studios are pretty talented.

I would be willing to pick this trilogy up as a novelty just to have all the games packaged together plus the new control scheme.

It would be really neat if Nintendo could offer a bonus disc with the set featuring some behind the scenes information also.

You can't "futureproof" technology, otherwise it doesn't advance. The technology of both the PS3 and the 360 are already outdated the first time they hit the storeshelf.

The technology in the PC market advances at a really fast rate. The new GPUs and CPUs that are out now for the PC market will outperform these consoles by a huge margin.

There is no way that either the 360 or the PS3 could even run Crysis as well as a high-end PC and it was released a w...

being out for years now that the price of actually making one has significantly reduced. It would almost seem more beneficial for Microsoft to just send consumers a new one instead of paying someone to fix it.

Chances are they have to replace the motherboard if it warps or cracks anyways. Same goes for the GPU if it damaged by heat. They could waste time and money disasembling one and it cant be fixed.

It would most likely lead to more customer appreciation becau...

when the game hasn't been relased yet. The only exceptions are for industry journalists who get an early copy to review.

I offer you this picture for a good point of reference.

I agree with you on all aspects. You brought up the Saturn and the lack of localization for Japanese titles. I actually imported Radiant Silvergun, as well as the Capcom vs series. They came with a 4 meg ram cartridge upgrade also for those games to retain all of the animation frames.

Sadly, you are right about Sony securing a lot of 3rd party support that eventually led to the Dreamcast's early demise. I think worldwide sales of the Dreamcast were only around 10 million when S...

was one of the best consoles ever in my opinion. It was released when the PS1 was out and the graphics blew me away the first time I saw Soul Calibur running. The VMU was also pretty neat.

It's just kind of sad that more people didn't buy one. It was the worlds first console to feature 128-bit graphics and also the first console to introduce online play. So many classic games: Shenmue, Sonic Adventure, Skies of Arcadia, Grandia 2, Power Stone...the list could go on forever. <...
