I am pretty confident that Epic will want to showcase their knowledge of their own Unreal Engine 3. Gears of War 2 will most likely set the new graphic bar as the first one did.
If they could work the wonders they did the first time with the 360, they will most likely surpass it by a long shot. Only a couple of days to find out..:)
is going to be unbelievable. The first one still holds up even on the original Xbox. Ninja Gaiden is unmatched in the gameplay department and I am sure Team Ninja will not disappoint on the graphics end.
This series is a testament to what 'hardcore' games should be. Can't wait for the release.
Yeah I'm sure there WAS money involved. Isn't that the whole point of having a job?
And how do you know what Colin Reed prefers? Does the name Colin Reed sound Japanese to you?
the PS3 was rushed to the market because the 360 got the early jump. That is why there were no big games the first year.
Sony just has a problem with PR. They should just show the games to the press when they are out of beta. Sony hired a CGI team for all the renders for Killzone, it wasn't even running on any type of console hardware for the first trailer.
It really isn't fair to consumers who are waiting for titles for over a year. Killzone, even Home...etc. Th...

No, If I wanted to celebrate VG Chartz I would post it myself, would I not? I do not care about sales figures. It is funny that you refer to me in this manner, yet you are the one celebrating....Ever look in the mirror? When you point the finger there is always 3 pointing back at yourself.
All I am saying is that VG Chartz isn't a reliable source. No matter who it depicts in the sales lead. Notice how this article is posted as 'RUMOR' and not as news? It should be pretty self-e...
is going to be awesome, especially with online play. I love RTS, I just hope that they get the control scheme down.
is always wrong. I consider them the joke of N4G. I usually report it as SPAM, but people seem to like it so much I quit doing it. It would be just as credible to ask Ms Cleo the fortuneteller.
Oh well, enjoy.

Usually games are made on PC first then put on the dev kit, a good example of this is Devil May Cry 4. With 360 and PC architecture 360 being so similar it is very cost effective for developers.
Overall, Microsoft did a good job offering good toolsets and assistance to developers for ease of game making. At the end of the day profit is number one for games producers.
It is a lot easier to surf the web on your PC. The picture doesn't look very good anyways unless you have an HDTV.
AMD purchase ATI it seems like they never release the highest end card first and Nvidia is one step ahead. The funny thing about is that most(almost all of the games)out at the time don't take advantage of the features of the new card.
By the time the next iteration of cards comes out the developers are just starting to use some of the older features. That is why sometimes having the newest card isn't always the wisest finiancial choice.
on some cards only gives you an extra 1 frame per second on Crysis. You do get more power but not the 'full' power of 'all' the cards.
I've always been an ATI fan, just preference that is all. I think the 3870 is a great card, that is what I am using now.
You mean kind of like what Sony did to Nintendo back in the day?

I consider Ocarina of Time one of the games that is truly a 10. From story, game design, everything.
Grand Theft Auto IV is a very good game, but not a timeless classic like Ocarina.
I remember playing Panzer Dragoon for the fist time and being blown away by the graphics(back then.) The Saturn was actually a pretty powerful console(for the time period.)
It was made up of multiple processors though, and very few developers actually used more than one for games development. Even Yuji Naka of Sonic Team said that Saturn Development was a pain. Originally Saturn was designed to be a 2D machine. But with the advent of the Playstation Sega added the extra proces...
They are both pretty bad. How is one form of of problem deemed as 'worse.' The funny thing is that as of now there is no 'definitive' solution for either.
series is one of the best hack 'n slash games on the market. I remember how awesome the visuals were even on the original Xbox. I can't wait to see what Team Ninja pulls off on the sequel.
Ninja Gaiden is one of the only types of games in the genre that the enemies actually put up a fight and had excellent AI. Most games you can just button mash and not even block and just coast through the game. In Ninja Gaiden that would equal death most of the time.
It is trul...
with the PS2? Wasn't that the Gamecube? It's funny how Nintendo is mopping the floor with the other consoles in sales (in every region), and that is the best excuse you can come up with?
What are you going to say when they stop making PS2 games? Will the Wii just be in competition with itself? Nice copout.
Personally my favorite was always Gunstar Heroes. I also lived the Phantasy Star series on Genesis. I wish that Sega would release a 'true' sequel to Phantasy Star and not just the online version.
Some of my favorite shooters ever were on Genesis also. The Thunderforce series. Especially part 4 'Lightning Force.'

is a disappointment to me. I am a long time Mortal Kombat fan. IMO the last good mortal Kombat was Ultimate MK3. Part 4 was 'OK', but every rendition after that they dropped the whole fighting engine.
Every character should have a standard set of moves, down + HP = uppercut, Back + HK = roundhouse...etc. Air juggles, corner traps..etc are all gone. When John Tobias left the MK team, Midway just seems to have focused on graphics and not gameplay. 'Mortal Kombat' seems to have be...
