I partially agree with OP, but I'm going to expand it more. I honestly don't see the point of paying 60 bucks for a game if you are just going to plow through it. If the games mechanics aren't very good, it's not worth buying or playing for that matter. Playing on a normal or harder difficulty may be frustrating sometimes, but you are not going to be encouraged to explore the gameplay on easy. You're going to miss out on a lot of those great moments without the encourageme...
Good job for Deus Ex. It will probably get a top 10 chart placing next month.
Was a ridiculous waste of money if the developers didn't manage to come up with something more original than Bullet Time.
At the end of the day, it isn't going to matter which version has the better graphics or the least discs. At the end of the day, everyone is going to get the version their friends are playing.
It may see some good numbers second week as well. Every time I check Amazon Canada, it's sold out.
Given the sales of the game, I doubt they'll even manage to sell 300 copies.
Yeah, this is obviously just another attempt to start a controversy ala the Fox News Mass Effect incident.
My most satisfying platinum trophy would be actually getting one :S
How about this one:

I still think it's actually a very good list despite the absence of Cross. I wouldn't even change much of the ordering.
Don't get me wrong, I liked the trailer, but "Mindblowing" is definitely an overstatement.
Actually, I think it's kinda cool BF3 is so big, it's going to be the first multi-disc shooter.
No, El Shaddai just has one of the artists that worked on Okami. That's it.
Big surprise a guy weaned on the latest tech will call PS3 and 360 the two greatest systems ever. I have to wonder if this guy is even interested in making a good game as opposed to the latest id showpiece.
No one played Killer 7 because no one could understand what it was. I played it for like five hours and was still thinking the game would wind up being one giant hallucination.
The game is gonna sell like hotcakes in Japan anyway. At least a million copies. How do we know Vita won't be a disappointment as well?
That's a pretty good trade off; MGS1 for Peace Walker. It's only like 9 bucks if you happen to not own a copy anyway.
RIP... I remember him as a terrorist in season 2 of 24. A tragic loss.
To be fair, the PS3 version had over 80,000 pre-orders the week before it released. To think that the large majority of first-week sales were pre-orders tells me hardcore gamers were among the only ones to buy the game. Word-of-mouth may eventually spread this game to everyone, like Demon's Souls.
I'm still a little split on the ranking system in Halo Reach being worse than Halo 3 (granted, it's no better). The fact is, the longer you play chances are you will get better at the game. Halo 3's ranking system was also easily exploitable as winning matches was the most important part. Skill would play a big role in winning in lone wolves, but in team slayer, no matter how bad you are, your odds of winning are still going to be roughly 50/50. Where's the skill in that?
